Dragon*Con After Dark

He said that, although it's not yet official, it appears that D*C will not be having the Dragon*Con After Dark event this year. I've never been to it, but I understood that it was one of the most popular events at the Con. He said they were planning on dropping it since the crowded night schedule had moved it to 7:00 PM, which wasn't even actually after dark. Maybe this is part of an effort to be a little more "family friendly" in the evening?
