Prydon Academy dinner
As Dragon*Con is approaching quickly, we want to remind everyone to please come sign up for our annual group dinner if you’re interested in attending. It’s a genuine blast every year, and it gives us all a chance to sit down and relax, uncostumed, and just hang out.
This year the event is going to take place on Friday night rather than the usual Saturday. We’ve found in past years that dining on Saturday night can involve a lot of scheduling conflicts, so this year we’ve moved it to allow even more Prydonians to join us! It will also be slightly later than usual, around 8:00 (the final time is still being determined) so as to not conflict with the Amy Pond and Ryan’s Army photoshoots.
At this point, though, it’s very important for us to get as accurate a headcount as possible. The number of diners will determine prices, what menu will be provided to us, and which private room the restaurant will reserve for us. If we have enough diners, we may have the entire top floor of the place to ourselves - how nifty would that be? That’s not to say that if you express interest now you’ll be locked in. There will still be time to drop out if circumstances dictate; just let us know! Right now we’re just looking for a maximum probable number.
