volunteer postcards?
I received a green postcard stating this: "We are very excited about Dragon*Con 2012 and want to ensure you that your staff membership has been reserved and that your active participation as a member of our team is still needed."
Question:
I've volunteered at multiple cons over the years. I volunteered for the first time last convention (2011) and had a terrible experience where I was never given a Saturday badge. I got accosted by Security all day long, even though I had worked 15 hours (yes, really) on Friday, and my Friday badge said "Staff" on it. (I'm glad Security stopped me, 'cause it means they were paying attention. I'm just not pleased with the fact that I didn't get a badge.) Anyway, that's not the point. Will I get a full-weekend badge this time or just get daily passes again? If it's the latter, I might not even bother coming to the con, let alone volunteering.
