Has anyone tried calling the Marriott directly? If the Hyatt passkey info came directly from the Hyatt, surely the Marriott would also have the necessary info.

I called and it's not available. Well, I called the passkey people not the Marriott about the site. Marriott can't even books rooms for that weekend yet. At least that's the story I got.

Wow. They're going to make us wait for the last minute, aren't they? Thanks for making the call at least.

Anybody know the con rate for the Sheraton? I can't find any info on the DragonCon website.

Thanks for the link to that thread but I didn't see any official mention of the DragonCon hotel rate there.

We booked a double last Friday for $199/night, plus taxes of course. I *think* they quoted me $179 for a traditional queen and $209 for a queen suite, but don't hold me to that. If you're going to call, make sure you call during their regular hours to get the actual staff. We tried calling at night the first time, got corporate, and they had NO idea how to book it, and claimed they were sold out. We called back the next day during regular business hours, and got booked right away. I got the confirmation email from them before I even hung up the phone.
