Entertainment Weekly Magazine puts down Dragon*Con
This magazine arrives at my house and usually is pretty informative about some films, TV shows, and books ( I found out about Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter through them), but their little thing in the back called the "Bullseye" made a snide comment about our favorite convention. And I quote, "Dragon*Con: the convention for those who aren't cool enough to get into Comic-Con." I personally have sent an e-mail to the magazine and I urge all you that may feel they slighted us because the convention is not in California. I know after 14 Dragon*Cons if I didn't think that the people who attended were cool or the ladies lovely I would have probably stopped back in 1997, but I still keep coming and will not miss the con. I told EW in my e-mail that I challenge their Bullseye writer to come to next years 25th anniversary Dragon*Con and then make an informed opinion about the con we all love.
