First, I just wanted to give a HUGE collective hug to all the great volunteers I met this year. In years past I have encountered rude volunteers who were more hurtful than helpful but this time was completely different. Every volunteer I talked to was incredibly knowledgable (even though so many things were going on at once) and ready to help. I would also like to give a shout-out to one of the best line managers I've ever seen. I think his name was Kyle and he was in charge of the Nuts on the Road! line Saturday night. He made our group's agonizing line wait a lot better.

ALSO:

I've always either gone to D*C with a group or a few friends but have yet to meet any nifty D*C people from other places and I always get jealous when I'm waiting in line and I hear about some kind of group meet up taking place. Can anyone give me a few links to some cool D*C groups or forums that I can interact with throughout the year before the Con? I think there is even one along the lines of "ladies of dragon con."
