Kali Fairy Dress: Work in Progress photos

As part of her Introduction story, Kali will be having a shoot of her in the forest.. and the next shoot would be her capture shoot. So I've been working on her "Fairy dress". I don't think it came out fairy-ish though. In my design I wanted it to have zig-zag ends, but I remembered trying that out before and hemming it in was bad and lining it

Hopefully you can see the handkerchief hemlines on these dresses were left completely unfinished, with just raw edges.

This is a pic of jeans I made that were fringed at the hem. There is a tiny row of tighter zigzag stitching right above the fringe.

Thanks for clear informative photos! I think I will have a try at handkerchief dresses in some remnant fabric before trying on the chiffon. Those dresses are gorgeous, there must be layers underneath, puffs out wonderfully!
