I got string problems, people!
So. I had a crappy week last week so I engaged in a little 'retail therapy', namely hitting up the local froufrou yarn store for some Noro. Translation for non-string people: Blinkie bought colorful Japanese yarn.
One thing I got was two skeins of
Noro Yuzen, in the "01" colorway -- green, grey, turquoise. I got it because the green reminded me of my eyes, and I thought the yarn would complement em.
But now I'm paralyzed with indecision -- what do I make with the pretty yarn? Since I got em with my eye color in mind, I thought I should make something that would be worn near my face. But I already have a gazillion hats and scarves. What can I say, they're easy to make. I could probably use a small scarf, since most of the ones I use are huge and long, but I couldn't decide on a pattern.
Another part of me is saying eff it, make some more fingerless gloves, since I can always use more ways to keep my hands warm. That puts the yarn far from my face but gives me something I might wear more often.
In theory I could find a good sweater pattern or something that where I could use the yarn around the neckline as an accent. But I already have a couple sweaters in progress and sweaters take foreeeeeeeever.
What do you think, oh string people and non-string people? What should I do with the pretty string besides stare at it and pet it?
