Summary: An AU written from the POV of the dragon that hatches from the egg. Stolen from his nest to be used as part of a magical experiment, Burgundy the Red Dragon is imprisoned within an impossible, randomly shifting labyrinth full of mist. His only companion is a clueless, pessimistic adventurer with no memory of his life before imprisonment in the maze. Burgundy cares only for reaching the last floor and escaping, possibly killing some sort of giant monster, until he discovers the true purpose of the labyrinth and realises he will never escape if he plays by the rules.
