More random updates
1. The Comic Phonebook meeting this week was pretty successful! A lot of attendance and learned a lot myself from Professor Mia's comic scripting Q&A as well! A lot better than last year when really... there was no workshop ^^;; Yeah... the club was totally lame last year. But! It was interesting when she got on to a slight tangent about how Bleach is actually not so awesome? ^^; It was kind of funny since some of the reasons she listed I was like, "huh... I actually liked that about it" xD;; But thinking about what she said, she had very good points O:

3. Zine Fair tomorrow! Who's excited? I managed to get a spot for Comic Phonebook again this year, so hopefully we'll be able to give some more books some homes! It'd be excellent if we could... yes...
4. I totally slacked off today, probably not the best of ideas since tomorrow Zine Fair will take up most of the morning. Hrm... yeah, I'll probably have to skip a birthday celebration my buddies are having >>; but dang it, I don't wanna get on the city bus.
5. I use the Alfeegi keychain on my own set of keys... because Feegi's the one with the keys >o> *totally DORK*
6. P.S. Ruwalk's on the phone because the phone's pink and it matches.
7. At least not going to Japan gives me time for Disney's Imagineering contest... wonder how that will go.
8. I'm tempted to fill out Cairnsy's meme but have sworn off fandom so maybe I shouldn't.
9. I wanna combine art nouveau with Chinese type art somehow. Interesting since art nouveau was meant to become an international art movement when it was first made... I think it also drew from some Asian sources too, now that I think about it. (there's a chance I'm making this up). If SCAD had a class all about Art Nouveau I'd soooo take it. Instead, I'm thinking of settling on Asian art for my art history elective.
10. I missed the Blizzard presentation... hrm, I haven't really seen any video game presentations since coming to SCAD, so it made me sad that I had to miss it to finish my project Wednesday night... I should find someone who did go and ask them how it went. At least Pixar and Dreamworks are still coming, and most companies visit SCAD twice a year.
11. I've discovered that maybe sometimes I do gesture drawings better when I'm talking as I do them... this hadn't occured to me before until Sketch Club today O: Btw, why is SCAD making a Drawing Club now? I find such a club rather redundant at an art school. Then again... Comic Phonebook is in danger of being redundant nowadays ^^; with SAS wanting to make an anthology and Professor Bob and his Sugar Ninja anthology? No idea what the latter is about, but I've seen the name around.
12. According to Amanda, there is a potential spider infestation in our room? Oh noes. I hate spiders.
