Why do I do it? It makes no sense whatsoever. I don't flame the site, I've stopped ranting. Heaven knows I don't read the stories. Maybe it's just the most mindboggling barbieshipping AU I've ever come across. I mean, yes. I do believe that Dick n Babs belong together. I just don't believe that it's realistic to create a 'verse in which they've never so much as looked at another person, they're head over heels in wuv with each other, and the site filters out the name Starfire.
The rules and regs for submissions seem to equate underaged sex with slash. Nope. Sorry. It may be smut. It may be pwp. But slash is something else entirely.
Maybe it's that they consider any mention of other fanfic sites to be spamming.
Their feedback threads read like "what if fanbrats gushed just as madly but spelled it properly." No concrit whatsoever, it's all a love-in. Because anything remotely critical, tends to be met in one of two ways: the site admin saying that if you don't like the direction of the site you should leave, or the post being deleted.
I'd put this on fanficrants but you actually have to join the site in order to read ANY of the threads. So, here's my private little rant. Hopefully now that it's out of my system I can move on.
