Quick thoughts
The party went off wonderfully! Lots of fun and folks and food and games and movies and explosives (shh!). And, no noticible drama on the day of, hooray! If there WAS drama... thanks for hiding it from me!
We overbought a bit and still have a silly amount of food left, but that just means I have lunches this week. It's very tasty stuff, it won't last any longer than that and other than some of the rice, it won't go to waste. :)
Noel made it home safely last night, a bit wiped out from the weekend. Her grandmother passed away Saturday afternoon, but was alert for a bit before she slipped away, and those present were able to have some final words. I believe the funeral will be on the 24th in Evanston, so grandma can be buried in the family plot next to her husband.
Tonight I'll be at Games Plus playing EVE CCG. You are welcome to show up and learn to play. :)
Tomorrow is Tuesday Cheap Movie Night, some of the Chicago-SF crowd will be gathering at the Buffalo Grove Theater to go see a movie for a dollar. I belive we're seeing Casino Royale at 7pm (The Departed and Eragon were also considered but I believe they have been outvoted). Tomorrow is also Fat Tuesday (aka Mardi Gras) but I doubt we'll be seeing any tops flying off in this weather...
