Brief recap
Wednesday we went downtown to watch Wicked! Traffic sucked as usual, but wasn't as bad as feared. After some brief confusion about what a Loge was (I'm still not sure, it looked like a balcony to me but the balcony is a different area), we found our seats and proceeded to absolutely love the production. :) Thanks Kat!
Thursday was board games, we played Air Baron. Don't play this game, it's silly-random. Aimee_Darling wants us all to start playing Go instead. *quizzical look*
Friday, Kat and I met up and headed into Chicago again to help awibs move the Tiamat House, with a small party afterwards. We discovered the other day that Vanilla Rum mixes very well into Cherry Coke, and shared this discovery. :)
Saturday was workout at Bally's, followed by D&D at Marks, followed by a birthday party for Becca at the Fox & Hound in Aurora, where we also got to see Beknatok, nagash, 911sc and mia42 who is now back in town.
Sunday was the kidnapping of andromeda77 (her daughter was with her Ex for the day) for an afternoon anime-fest wherein we watched the entirety of Record of Lodoss War, and snuggled a lot. :) Eventually she was returned to Chicago.
Tonight we get to go see my bestest pal aldirmazlik and his lovely wife wanderinggrrl who are in town for the week. They will also be joining us for Thursday Gaming this week.
Tomorrow will be Dave & Buster's downtown (yeah, I know, crazy chicagoness these days!) with the chicago-sf.org crowd.
