Gollum!
Darn it. I seem to have acquired some sort of throat glop from either the change in weather or exposure to allergens. My nose is not running, but I find myself occasionally making some sort of horrible Gollum-esque choking noise. At least my throat isn't actually sore. I'll spare you further details, but suffice it to say I am not pleased about this situation....
Wheat Grass Fu
Time to throw away the kitties' latest batch of wheat grass. In spite of lightly watering it every other day, it has turned yellow and Josie left us an unpleasant green present Sunday. Poor thing! She's been extra cuddly of late. Almost annoyingly so when it is bedtime. She insists on curling up on me or next to me in such as a way that I cannot move. Oh well. I am enjoying the Plush Kitty Endorphins in spite of that. MMMMM!
Long Unreported
I haven't reported in a while on my march towards better health. We had to do biometrics to get some incentives on work insurance, and I was pleasantly surprised to discover I am teetering at the correct side of healthy weight rather than being under tall. Yay! Shifting all that rubble at Ealdercote made me drop a few more pounds in a day. :) Alas, it was temporary. :( On a good note, I think it helped push me off this plateau, and the downward trend is again on the move. If I can manage to not overeat (or indulge in the convenience foods the family has) during the holidays, I hope to continue.
The one drawback to all of this is that I may need to purchase new clothes. Cheapskate: that's me.... :)
