Install the solar panel? Wait! What? We had a plan for that?
I failed to communicate to my sweetie that I wanted her home before dark so I could feel less anxious about going back out on the roof to install the solar panel. Somewhere around 7:30 she calls to cheerfully inform me that she decided to stay late today to work on a project (her extra hour that she has to make up for working on Sunday).
I didn't grumble since I didn't tell her I wanted her home at a particular time. But, the solar panel installation gets delayed until next week. I wonder if it would be worth trying to install on Tuesday evening?
Playtime Fu
After putting a new wrapper of rope around the cat tree, I redisovered the catnip "fishing rods" and spent part of the evening entertaining Kiera, Josie, and Ignatius. Watching them rear up to carpe carp was quite amusing for us, too.
And after observing Ignatius' adoration of
ealdthryth's slippers I could not resist the following quip (and feel compelled to inflict it on you all):
Pardon me ma'am, but is that the cat who loves your blue shoes?
Framed Redux
I was happy to discover that our nice nature photographs are the right dimensions to fit in a standard frame...except they were mounted on foamcore--which increases the 'depth' to be too deep for the standard frame size. Note to artist: if you are going to mat your work so it has "standard" dimensions, make sure the depth of the matting will actually fit in a "standard" frame....
Like I have any room to talk...my last several batches of C&I don't fit in standard frames at all.
