Bleh
I stayed home with some sort of stomach bug today. I telecommuted and enjoyed plush kitty endorphins when AElfgifu decided that my when my arms are poised for typing for a sufficient length of time, they make a decent comfy spot.
The New Arrangement
After work, I completed building the last bookcase and began the tedious chore of moving the furniture, vacuuming, then trying to arrange all the new furniture into a coherent and workable pattern. The first attempt isn't too bad, but it is still unsatisfactory. The shelves being against the wall force the rocker and its side table to be much further out into the room than I care for, and the lamps will need to get swapped between the library and the living room. Since we are changing the functions of the rooms, I'm not too sure what to call the living room now....
Couch Potato Fu
When ealdthryth came down and sat on the couch with me before she went to work, the cats decided they should join us. AElfgifu and Josie both perched on the back of the couch, purring contentedly while Ignatius sacked out on the rug.
