Even if just 15, Aya has the body of a woman; Oh!Great really does pump out his girls, and Aya Natsume is no different. I will, however, use her manga looks rather than her anime looks.
Aya is 162cm, 43kg, blood type AB, and her three sizes are 96-50-81. She has long dark brown hair that goes down to her feet and just recently cut few bangs in front. Being a fighter, her body is very much well toned, muscular and she is fast and has amazing corporal abilities.
When using her Dragon’s Eye, her eyes turn cat like, else she’ll normally have brown colored eyes and a sweet smile across her face.
[Powers & Abilities]
Aya is an incredible good cook and she has lungs that will make you regret having heard her screaming. Yes, she is very loud enough to actually call a God's attention (really).
She wants to become a Martial Arts master, therefore she knows how to fight several martial arts, she is actually very good (not enough to be a master, but good enough), but she is the best with swords. She has a special fighting style that her family created, and she is incredibly good. she can't hold a gun, thought, but she manages to move it around enough to disarm you.

[Background and key words]
Aya Natsume was born in 10th March, heir of Natsume Family household in Japan. Having for older brother Shin (deceased), older sister Maya, Mother Miya (deceased) and his father also deceased, it was a family of warriors and fighters part of the Red Feathers (explanation below) and she is the current only heir of the family with the Dragon’s eyes ability. She enrolled her sister’s school, Toudou Gakuen School, and joined her sister’s Jyuuken group that was constantly at fight with the Enforcement group that ruled the school.
In order to understand all of what I’m saying I’ll first of all explains the basis of this world’s background.
The Enforcement group started when the Feudal clan based administration system was collapsing, and in order to revive the dying "Martial Arts", the predecessor to this school, Toubu Training centre, was founded - and present days is called Toudou Gakuen School.
All of the old clan's Private guard, instructors and masters were half-forced to assemble in order to protect the order of the centre, establishing absolute rules and power over the other martial arts fighters (hence the reason why the enforcement group is so against Jyuuken group, ruled by Maya). Unfortunately, due to only one person, those characteristics have been greatly distorted.
The current clan is "Takayanagi clan", lead by Mitsuomi, while the other families - like Natsume family - are servants and factions. Any clan who is against the current ruler had to be beat down, and that means Natsume's group.
There are 12 families that have historically support the Takayanagi family, but have broken up due to the rising technicality and the less and less need of martial arts in the world. The families are split into white and red feathers. Red Feathers are people who can use special powers by opening special gates within their bodies. There are 7 main ones, and they're included in 36 families total-- it doesn't actually say how many RED feather branch families there are, and there ARE some white feather families (families with no powers). Aya's Dragon Eye is Red Feather ability, as expected.
There is also Red Wing Resonance Effect, which allows the Red Feathers resonate and reinforce each other when nearby, and this effect will have great importance to awaken all the broken and scattered Red Feather families.
The new alliance of the heads of families that didn’t disappear has formed supposedly under Mitsuomi and call themselves 'F' (although all 12 have not joined), yet F betrayed even Mitsuomi, and later on is even admitted that actually, The Enforcement Group worked for F and not the other way around.
Natusme Family: Once a high branch than the Takayanagi clan, but are now an exile, trying to fight off the same suppressors. Aya’s family has her own specific dragon, the Dragon’s Eye. Controlling this Gate indeed will help het to become stronger, even stronger than her sister possibly and as stronger as her brother, Shin, but any small mistake will drive her to madness and her body will slowly be destroyed by her own power.
The ceremonial blade "Reiki": Jyukon Onmyou entrapped all of the power of evil Buddhist ceremonies in that single katana, a crystallization of cursed technology. It acts in response of the power of the person wielding it, it can cause rain or just drive the user on a killing spree. The effect is vastly influenced by the nature of the wielder. It doesn't react to people without any special power, hence why it was entrusted to Maya Natsume.
Nagi family: The family of Exorcists. They call the evil down on themselves, they become used to evil, and they destroy evil. They are hated since ancient times by demons and humans alike, this family that has broken the curse. Their gate is the Dragon’s Fist and they are able to steal other Red Feather's dragons and copy them, ence why they are called “Exorcists of the Red Feathers”. Even better, they have more than one dragon's gate, making them capable of using the stolen power. The source of a exorcist’s power is dragons with a lot of energy, letting them devour them and therefore they become evil in order to destroy evil.
Souichiro is a "demon", having an inexhaustible supply of spirit and his mother, Makiko Nagi, (who has an eyepatch over the left eye and lack her left arm) are the only ones left in this linage, though Makiko is no longer able to use her Dragon’s Fist.
Kago family: Sohaku is the first and only person to ever be head of the Kago family, as he has lived for several centuries because of his unique power. He also is the true head of F. For unknown reasons, it has been his goal to awaken dormant powers in people across the world through the use of the Red Wing Resonance Effect.
He has the ability to manipulate death through his "Flaming Dragon's gate", by infusing energy into ruined flesh and allowing it to keep living, hence why himself does not die.
Much like Dōgen Takayanagi (Mitsuomi’s father), Sohaku has some desire to make an ultimate warrior. He uses a different means than Dogen, as he views the ultimate warrior as someone that could use all the dragon’s gates. He attempted to do this with Makiko by using of her family’s ability, the Dragon's Fist, to absorb the other families’ powers. The original plan was to gather those dragons inside her and transfer them to Tetsuhito, by using her own eye (hence why Makiko lost her left eye). However, he deemed it a failure as he concluded that Makiko’s body was too weak to handle her dragon, therefore getting rid of her and cutting her arm so she would no longer be able to use it. He did repeat the same process eight years later with his son, Souichiro, and achieved better results, hence why he kidnapped Souichiro at some point.
Sohaku has apparently survived without most people figuring out he is nearly immortal by frequently assuming new personas. In Feudal Japan, Sohaku initially went by the name Akechi Mitsuhide, who is a real person in Japanese history. Much like the historical Akechi was suspected of doing; he faked his death and then claimed to be a High Buddhist priest named Tenkai. Like the historical Tenkai, he supposedly functioned as an advisor to Ieyasu Tokugawa. However, in the manga's version of history, he essentially controlled the local government through a magical jutsu he used on.

When Aya was still a baby, and Maya was only 8, Maya was selected of to be the guardian of the Reiki by her father, since she had no special power. Unfortunately she did not realize the seriousness of her duty and let Shin touch it. This caused Shin's power of the dragon eyes to awaken, which allowed him to see past, present, possible futures as well as hear the thoughts of the living and the dead. It was faro to much for a young boy to handle so their father locked him in an underground dungeon. Slowly his power started to make Shin more and more insane. Maya was the only one who could keep him focused, so Shin became very attached to her, so much to even been called “lovers” by Shin’s girlfriend Mana. When Shin learned that his father plan to send him away thus separating the two, Shin went crazy and killed their parents with Reiki.
When she was 14, winter 199X, Maya met Takayanagi Mitsuomi. Shin, her brother told her that Mitsuomi was going to be the leader after him, that at the time was the President of the Enforcement group, but being controlled by Takayanagi clan.
By high school, Maya was starting to be annoyed by her brother’s constant interference in her fights, so she started to take away his "power" by taking out the members of Shin's gang, Katana. As more and more worry about the "Katana hunter" grew, Shin grew increasingly violent; he even attacked his own friends. Maya also started to develop a relationship with Mitsuomi, and Shin wasn't pleased with this, at all.
Mitsuomi's father purposely let Shin's insanity continue so Mitsuomi would have an evil to fight, thus helping Mitsuomi become the perfect warrior. He even had Fu Chi'en attack Maya to drive Shin over the edge, when Shin refused to take back the Reiki. Maya called out to Shin reverting him to normal, just then Mitsuomi rushed in to help, Maya also called out to him to stop. Jealous, Shin lost it again and blasted Mitsuomi with a large quantity of enegry, and As a result of this, Mitsuomi's heart received a lot of power, his heart beats at a rate beyond what any drug could do. With the oxygen flow in his body improved, Mitsuomi gained a better metabolism, more vitalized muscles and improved brain function. The catch is that fighting causes his heart rate to rise to 200 beats per minute, if he fights for longer than 3 minutes his heart could rupture, killing him. Regardless it shortened Mitsuomi's life span dramatically.
As Shin's insanity grew, he planned to kill anyone close to Maya. Shin used his dragon eyes to predict who could be even a minor threat to Maya and killed them. Mitsuomi planned to end this insanity, eventually challenging Shin and nearly killing him. Saved by his Dragon Eyes, Shin mounts a comeback and later kills himself with his girlfriend Mana.
Maya blames Mitsuomi for her brother's death. When Mitsuomi becomes the head of the Executive Council at the Academy, dethroning his own father Dōgen Takayanagi, Maya opposes him even though she still has feelings for him.
Let’s start with Aya’s actual background.
Two years after, Aya enrolled the school and after training a bit in their club, she went to bathhouse. Meantime Souichiro and Bob who also had joined the school, were causing problems, so Maya went to take care of it; during the fight she throws Souichiro out, making him fall from the window towards the shower room where Aya was taking a bath. This obviously caused a commotion, especially because the moment Souichiro saw Aya naked, she moves to kiss him and asks him to marry, due to a family tradition that both their mother and grandmother followed, for more than 100 years ago.

Yet Maya says how Aya doesn't care about protecting her integrity, so that wasn’t it; Aya indeed agrees and explains it was a feeling like fate. Little she knew it was actually Red Wing Resonance Effect and how this would influence her to the point of actually fall in love with the blond boy.
For a month, Aya started to stalk " Souichiro-sama", trying to force him to eat the "Loving wife Bento" she prepared for him. Obviously the boy always refused but was never able to actually get rid of her.
As she did so, Souichiro kept beating his way around other students, since he wanted to be the best fighter. Fascinated by him, Aya takes his side and asks him never to lose.
During one of those lunches, Souichiro and Masataka Takayanagi (another member of Maya’s club, along with Aya, that yes, he is indeed Mitsuomi’s little brother) get in a fight; obviously Souichiro looses, but in the middle of it we get to hear Aya screaming that her future husband can not lose so shamefully to such a level of martial arts (talking about Takayanagi 's level, that made him actually depressed. She didn’t even notice why. Actually, she fails to notice Takayanagi constant interest on her).
Few days later at night, angry, Aya trained in her house's garden by destroying the Garden Rocks, which her sister immediately scolded her about. For Aya, even if Souichiro lost and cheated during the fight, the fact that she loved the boy was enough for her to stand by his side and be mad at Takayanagi (like her sister said "She doesn't think of Takayanagi as a man at all").
That same night, the school's Enforcement group (3rd years) took action to punish Souichiro and Bob for their constant violent behavior. Even if Maya told Aya that it wasn't such a thing to be worried about, fact is, Aya felt something strange about it all. A bad feeling, enough to make her puke, and similar to the feeling she had the night before her brother died, obviously related to her Dragon’s Eye.
Few minutes later a guy called "Ryuzaki" calls the household of Natsume Family; he explains that while the Enforcement group's president was tolerant not all the members of the group were: he actually raped Bob's girlfriend and exploded his bike as to send an example and also because Bob and Souichiro needed to be shown how they were going to be treated for joining forces with Maya's Jyuuken group (thought it was a misunderstanding, they weren't part of the group yet, Aya was just following them around). As she heard those words, Aya's powers emerge and she is able to see all of what had happened.
Aya decides to go after Souichiro Nagi, using her brother's bike. Even if she didn't know how to ride at first, even if she didn't know where they were, she mentions she is able to see him and is probably the Power of love (aka, the Dragon’s Eyes again).
When Aya arrives, she sees Bob and Souichiro beated up. She also meets Ryuzaki but is unable to beat him, as he breaks her katana. The next day, she asks her sister to reforge her weapon, but unfortunately, a Katana is like a person, once broken is dead.
At the same day Souichiro and Bob join Jyuuken group, in order to become stronger. Aya herself starts to realize what it means to become stronger, why one wants to be stronger and why. She decided to become stronger too, so she could protect herself, those she loved and even the world if she had to.
During Golden week vacation, the group went to a Training Camp at the Natsume residence.
As training goes, Aya begins to notice Souichiro's actual true powers, but unfortunately his and Maya's actual true feelings towards one another. And unfortunately, also when she started to hate her own power, seeing it was nothing similar to her sister's (even if Maya had no powers whatsoever) or Souichiro's. She doesn't know yet how important and powerful it actually is, and the fact that even the Enforcement group has started to fear her and the other members of Jyuuken group.
One night they go to bowling, and still filled with doubt, Aya decides to use the Dragon's Eyes to see into the past and finally understand that her sister and Souichiro kissed. Heart broken, the girl fights with her older sister but before they are able to figure it out, the whole group is attacked by the Enforcement Group.
Aya is attacked by Tagami, an Executive Council member who fears her potential power. Given Tagami's weapon is a staff she moves up the stairwell to a narrow space to limit his movements, but the fact that his weapon can split into multi-sections, she has no choice but to move to the roof. As she gets beaten, Aya is able to see Souichiro's memories from when he was a child, knowing more and more about him and also regaining her spirit and using her words of "wife".
During the night, Aya's Dragon Eyes awaken and she starts to become over-enthusiastic to the fight as she gives into the dragon; she mercilessly beats Tagami, knowing every move he will make before he makes it. Despite the fact she hears his thoughts, and knows his bones are breaking she can't stop herself and nearly kills him, sounding extremely excited (and horny, really) about it.
Afterward she is very torn up about her actions, until Souichiro reassures her "next time fight, win and smile". She even manages to steal a small kiss from him, promising that next time she'd win. Meantime, Maya comes up, telling them they had to move since Bob and others were still floors below. But before going, Aya tells her sister she won't lose to her when it came to Souichiro-sama’s heart.
Few floors below, Nagi, Aya and Maya face Takayanagi and Bob beated up by Mitsuomi, the leader of the Enforcement group. She later tries to take on Mitsuomi with Tagami's staff, but Mitsuomi uses the Muscle Bomb to shatter the staff and knock her down with out actually moving himself. Later as her Dragon Eyes activate, he merely flicks her in the forehead, but it's enough to knock her unconscious.
After the Enforcement group left, Maya finally reveals to Chikage (Bob's girlfriend) what happened. Mitsuomi killed Shin Natsume, and at that time Sin also managed to kill Mitsuomi, shortening his life (he's still waiting to die). Therefore Maya must settle everything before he dies.
Maya needs to be punished due to her fights with the Enforcement group, therefore the school expels her (allowing her to finish the semester first), leaving the rest of the Jyuuken group members angry.
Since earlier her katana died, Aya decided to search for a new one, finding her brother's old Katana, Reiki. Her idea was to actually go to the Enforcement group and get Maya's expulsion cancelled with the katana, but before she and Takayanagi did so, Bob and Souichiro were already doing the same (and losing, seeing they didn’t match the group’s force). Listening to Nagi finally admit his love for Maya with her Dragon’s Eye, she stops Takayanagi from entering the room and breaks down. Her feelings were even enough to interfere with the environment: Aya's sadness brought Fox Rain, a dark dragon rain born of water spirit, due to the Dragon eyes (and NOT the Reiki, actually, since she wasn’t holding it), and even this was sensed by Nagi's mother.
When she was finally better, Maya showed up after Reiki, though, and not ready to face her sister yet, Aya ran off. Unfortunately soon it got to Mitsuomi's ears that Aya had the katana too and in order for the to get it back, Maya and Mitsuomi joined forces.
Aya meanwhile doesn't understand the significance of her possession of Reiki and thinks her sister is just picking on her, therefore continuously hides and ends up asking Takayanagi to let her stay at his place for a while.
During the night, her brother's ghost appears to take the Reiki away from her, explaining that will only bring her sadness and destroy her like it did to him. Insisting that she wants to become stronger she ends up taking the Katana after listening to her fate that she'd die if she lost.
Next day Maya ends up taking the sword away, but Aya didn’t give up so easily. Decided to challenge her sister, the two fight and Souichiro even encouraged her to become stronger, getting her in good spirits again.
Mitsuomi also agrees to put off all aggression until the school's annual election tournament, so the group decided they'd beat the Enforcement group during that time.
Aya is assigned to taking care of Souichiro and to help him train. She takes him to a house where Dogen Takayanagi (Mitsuomi's father) and his mother, Makiko Nagi, are but he refuses to be trained by them (mostly out of embarrassment because it was his mother, after all). Aya, angry, tells him he's still too weak and isn't taking anything serious, making the boy change his mind, but before they were able to get back they are attacked by masked warriors. They return to the house to find one of the masked men holding a knife to Makiko's eye patch. As a result, Souichiro awakens his Demon Exorcist self, and it is revealed the masked assailants are actually the former heads of the 12 families. During this training he manages to activate his Dragon Gate, The Dragon's fist.
He is trained by them for a while before he is attacked by Tessen Ishiyumi, a member of 'F', Aya is nearly killed as she arrives, but Souichiro saves her, by activating the first Dragon in him (remember, there are 7 dragons inside, and they all escape by one gate only; Nagi's is the fist). Despite Mitsuomi's order to wait for the tournament, F attacks the Jyuuken club anyway (It is later revealed they don't follow Mitsuomi, but Souichiro's father, Sohaku Kago).
Much later a boy named Mouki Enmi shows up at the Natsume house, claiming his home was attacked by another F member, Mataza, due to the fact the Enmi house refuses to join Takayanagi Clan. It turns out Enmi is one of the 36 branch families, a branch of the Natsume family in this case, and thus he has a similar power to the Dragon Eyes (but instead of being able to read energy from everything around them, they can only do so with living organisms). This causes the Red Wing Resonance Effect allowing Aya to use her powers more easily, and when Mouki is kidnapped by men on motorcycles, Aya and Souichiro hunt down the men on a scooter using Aya's Dragon Eyes to find all the shortcuts through town. She defeats the men and takes Mouki back, finding out, finally, that the assault on the Enmi family, was done by the F member, Mataza Tsumuji. Aya, Souichiro, Mouki and the boy stow away to investigate, even if Maya said "no" herself.
There, they encounter Yorihira Tsumuji, Mataza's father who assists them initially and explains that F is after the Enmi family scroll, more specifically a computer chip hidden with the scroll, that contains cursed techniques. Apparently the content of the chip is kept safe over Takayanagi's main computer, but ti has been locked and it’s impossible to find it.
A huge conflict breaks out between Mataze and his father Ysumuji, with Aya, Souichiro and Mouki trapped in the middle. This culminates in a battle between Mataza and Souichiro, one so fast paced Aya can't intervene even with her Dragon Eyes working perfectly for her. In the end the victory goes to Souichiro, but he is driven crazy by his "Dragon" and attacks Aya and the others. He is stopped by his mother who loses her arm in the process of stopping him; in despair, Souichiro runs towards an hospital holding his mother in his arms.
Later, Aya returns to the Juken Club, alone. She reveals Souichiro has been kidnapped by his father Sohaku Kago, after attacking the hospital they were at. Aya is so sure he will return she doesn't try to save him, but instead trains to get stronger more and more, enough for everyone around her to mention that she is like a new different person. Despite her outer determination, she is very upset on the inside, feeling powerless for not being able to help the man she loves.
Meantime, F realized the chip they got from Enmi's house was a fake; it's actually Maya's group that has it. Wanting to retrieve it, they start to attack the members of Jyuuken group; Madoka was one of the first to come, and was defeated and captured, yet Aya soon realized she had a Red Feather charm on her - a magical jutsu -, making her blind in love with Sohaku Kago and obviously following his orders. When Madoka was explaining that it was actually Mitsuomi that was serving F's purposes and not the other way around, another F member showed up, Fu Chi'en - also enchanted by Sohaku (remember, Fu Chi'en was alive back in time when Shin was still alive).
Lucky for them, the Enforcement group also joins the fight since they could not stand for F's betrayal. After the fight, Kabuto Katsumi and Kagiroi Tetsuhito, also two members of F, showed up, and Tetshuhito healed Madoka's and Takayanagi's wounds with his Dragon Palm (also a power from Red Feather, that heals the body entirely by transferring power into it), only because, according to him, he does not fight an opponent who is already weakened. But the battle didn't go, because the cops finally showed up.
As days go by, Aya's mental state begun to change. Keeping a cheerful face all the time, soon rain started to accompany her and soon she even begun to lose her hand on Dragon's Eyes, reading people's thoughts and see the presents as it happened somewhere else.
Maya (bringing Reiki), Mitsuomi, and Madoka go to rescue Souichiro and kill Sohaku, leaving Aya behind. However, Reiki (which was with Maya), awakens Aya's Dragon eyes and shows her Maya's battle, but not only that. Before that, she shows her the past, when Makiko was still under Sohaku's power; she sees that one of the "offerings" Sohaku got Makiko was actually Shin, her brother, and the objective was to her steal his Dragon’s eye. Yet Dōgen Takayanagi intervened and didn’t let Makiko act, also leaving the accusation that Sohaku was the one killing several family members. Reiki also shows the horrible operation that Sohaku did to Makiko, including taking her eye, seeing it was what kept all the Dragon Powers she had stolen so far. After, Aya comes to watch Maya's fight and when sees her sister losing, Aya awakens Reiki for her sister allowing her to defeat Tetsuhito (but still she took a lot of damage).
Reiki tells Aya that when she learns about everything, she and her would finally become one, letting her know that she is meant to use her better than Shin ever did. And so, she shows Aya the past, using Maya's stored up power. This way, Aya learned about Sohaku's past, and at one point witnessing the (implied) insertion of Souhaku's eye into Souichiro's body.
Eventually she regains herself to find Hirohiko Myouun Kabane looking over her along with Mitsuiro Tokuan Shōjō. She throws Hirohiko across the room, but calms down when Mitsuiro shape shifts to look like Aya; they are both part of the Red Feathers as well, heirs of families who fought Sohaku in the past - therefore, friends.
Next week, is the start of the tournament, and Aya has cut off some of her hair, making her look very much like her ancestor. As she looks at Souichiro on their way home one day, one of her dragon eyes awakens and she sees Souichiro morph into Sohaku, who tells her that she shouldn’t say anything about it since it was her only way to gain the things she has lost. Meantime Maya stood in coma, sleeping, due to her fight with Tetsuhito.
Mostly, Aya is left confused of what to do, since apparently she is the only one who knows Sohaku's eye was placed in Souichiro (who doesn't remember anything at all either), but it's unknown if she is helping keep his personality dominant or Sohaku is just lying low for now.
[Personality]
Aya Natsume is the youngest of the Natsume sisters, a first year student of Toujou Academy; she is almost adorably naive to a point of being clueless, but still, doesn’t stop her from being on of the greatest sword wielders of the school, able to channel her ki (inner power) through her blade so that she can cleave through many objects in an amazing precision that is almost scary.
She is indeed weaker than her sister at martial arts, even if she knows many moves; her objective is indeed to become a master in the art of fighting, even if Maya constantly tells her she will never be able to do so if she doesn’t train more. Even so, Maya can easily recognize how powerful her little sister got with just few months of training with the club, so we can say she is a fast learned.
She decided to follow her household’s tradition that a female is to wed the first man who sees her undressed, therefore she immediately became attached to Souichiro Nagi when he saw her naked, after she took a bath. Though, that isn’t exactly what can explain her behaviour, even if she says that since her mother and grandmother did it and so she’ll also; she calls it fate, but her sister sensed it’s not exactly that.
Aya is a cute, sweet girl, though, even if it sounds so clingy and for some scary in her ways to show love. Making “love wife” obentos (like I said, a DAMNED GOOD COOK), following Souichiro around like a stalker, caring for his wounds, she never gives up on trying winning him over, even when she realizes that her beloved man is actually in love with Maya and Maya herself too is getting wrapped by him (Maya does not admit it, but Aya can see and calls her sister stubborn and blind for it).
Unfortunately Aya isn’t as convincing as her sister when it came to Souichiro, who actually ended up choosing the other Natsume, leaving Aya behind. Feeling herself weak, Aya begun to train herself, either fighting her own sister, either following Souichiro on his training. When Aya looses her control, becomes too drowned in the Dragon's Eye and goes wild, it’s like her body reacts in a way to actually enjoy a fight (in other words, it can actually be sexually stimulating by her face), making her a sadistic, beautiful and scary monster. The morals and values that held her back before are shredded by this power of hers, leaving her the essence of the fight and opponent she is facing.
Still, she doesn’t believe much in herself. Aya hates her power and sees it as useless at first, but with encouraging words from Souichiro she became stronger. Fact is, she works up her strength mostly due to him; when he was kidnapped, she decided to stay behind and endure her pain, trying to be stronger, or after she decided to cut her hair to become better like her ancestor and so help Souichiro.
One bad side on the girl’s personality is that she tends to hide everything inside. Her insecurities, her sadness, probably anger is the only feeling she doesn’t actually lock within herself. The fact that she is able to see so much, even if she doesn’t want to, the fact that she heard so much and knows so much are a burden to Aya, who stays locked within herself, crying in the showers so no one will listen, as rain falls outside.
She is sweet to most people, but has the problem of forgetting or not realizing their true feelings, like she does to Takayanagi; overlooking the love the boy has for her, even not actually realizing it, or even worse, forgetting that he too is a man, Aya blindly sees only one person to love. But she will give you her hand when necessary, so when Enmi showed up to her house, immediately she held and helped him.
Finally, she appears to also like kids, as well as cooking. She likes to give people a chance to explain themselves and she can actually enjoy battling a lot, because getting stronger is her objective.

Even if just 15, Aya has the body of a woman; Oh!Great really does pump out his girls, and Aya Natsume is no different. I will, however, use her manga looks rather than her anime looks.
Aya is 162cm, 43kg, blood type AB, and her three sizes are 96-50-81. She has long dark brown hair that goes down to her feet and just recently cut few bangs in front. Being a fighter, her body is very much well toned, muscular and she is fast and has amazing corporal abilities.
When using her Dragon’s Eye, her eyes turn cat like, else she’ll normally have brown colored eyes and a sweet smile across her face.

Aya is an incredible good cook and she has lungs that will make you regret having heard her screaming. Yes, she is very loud enough to actually call a God's attention (really).
She wants to become a Martial Arts master, therefore she knows how to fight several martial arts, she is actually very good (not enough to be a master, but good enough), but she is the best with swords. She has a special fighting style that her family created, and she is incredibly good. she can't hold a gun, thought, but she manages to move it around enough to disarm you.

[Background and key words]
Aya Natsume was born in 10th March, heir of Natsume Family household in Japan. Having for older brother Shin (deceased), older sister Maya, Mother Miya (deceased) and his father also deceased, it was a family of warriors and fighters part of the Red Feathers (explanation below) and she is the current only heir of the family with the Dragon’s eyes ability. She enrolled her sister’s school, Toudou Gakuen School, and joined her sister’s Jyuuken group that was constantly at fight with the Enforcement group that ruled the school.
In order to understand all of what I’m saying I’ll first of all explains the basis of this world’s background.
The Enforcement group started when the Feudal clan based administration system was collapsing, and in order to revive the dying "Martial Arts", the predecessor to this school, Toubu Training centre, was founded - and present days is called Toudou Gakuen School.
All of the old clan's Private guard, instructors and masters were half-forced to assemble in order to protect the order of the centre, establishing absolute rules and power over the other martial arts fighters (hence the reason why the enforcement group is so against Jyuuken group, ruled by Maya). Unfortunately, due to only one person, those characteristics have been greatly distorted.
The current clan is "Takayanagi clan", lead by Mitsuomi, while the other families - like Natsume family - are servants and factions. Any clan who is against the current ruler had to be beat down, and that means Natsume's group.
There are 12 families that have historically support the Takayanagi family, but have broken up due to the rising technicality and the less and less need of martial arts in the world. The families are split into white and red feathers. Red Feathers are people who can use special powers by opening special gates within their bodies. There are 7 main ones, and they're included in 36 families total-- it doesn't actually say how many RED feather branch families there are, and there ARE some white feather families (families with no powers). Aya's Dragon Eye is Red Feather ability, as expected.
There is also Red Wing Resonance Effect, which allows the Red Feathers resonate and reinforce each other when nearby, and this effect will have great importance to awaken all the broken and scattered Red Feather families.
The new alliance of the heads of families that didn’t disappear has formed supposedly under Mitsuomi and call themselves 'F' (although all 12 have not joined), yet F betrayed even Mitsuomi, and later on is even admitted that actually, The Enforcement Group worked for F and not the other way around.
Natusme Family: Once a high branch than the Takayanagi clan, but are now an exile, trying to fight off the same suppressors. Aya’s family has her own specific dragon, the Dragon’s Eye. Controlling this Gate indeed will help het to become stronger, even stronger than her sister possibly and as stronger as her brother, Shin, but any small mistake will drive her to madness and her body will slowly be destroyed by her own power.
The ceremonial blade "Reiki": Jyukon Onmyou entrapped all of the power of evil Buddhist ceremonies in that single katana, a crystallization of cursed technology. It acts in response of the power of the person wielding it, it can cause rain or just drive the user on a killing spree. The effect is vastly influenced by the nature of the wielder. It doesn't react to people without any special power, hence why it was entrusted to Maya Natsume.
Nagi family: The family of Exorcists. They call the evil down on themselves, they become used to evil, and they destroy evil. They are hated since ancient times by demons and humans alike, this family that has broken the curse. Their gate is the Dragon’s Fist and they are able to steal other Red Feather's dragons and copy them, ence why they are called “Exorcists of the Red Feathers”. Even better, they have more than one dragon's gate, making them capable of using the stolen power. The source of a exorcist’s power is dragons with a lot of energy, letting them devour them and therefore they become evil in order to destroy evil.
Souichiro is a "demon", having an inexhaustible supply of spirit and his mother, Makiko Nagi, (who has an eyepatch over the left eye and lack her left arm) are the only ones left in this linage, though Makiko is no longer able to use her Dragon’s Fist.
Kago family: Sohaku is the first and only person to ever be head of the Kago family, as he has lived for several centuries because of his unique power. He also is the true head of F. For unknown reasons, it has been his goal to awaken dormant powers in people across the world through the use of the Red Wing Resonance Effect.
He has the ability to manipulate death through his "Flaming Dragon's gate", by infusing energy into ruined flesh and allowing it to keep living, hence why himself does not die.
Much like Dōgen Takayanagi (Mitsuomi’s father), Sohaku has some desire to make an ultimate warrior. He uses a different means than Dogen, as he views the ultimate warrior as someone that could use all the dragon’s gates. He attempted to do this with Makiko by using of her family’s ability, the Dragon's Fist, to absorb the other families’ powers. The original plan was to gather those dragons inside her and transfer them to Tetsuhito, by using her own eye (hence why Makiko lost her left eye). However, he deemed it a failure as he concluded that Makiko’s body was too weak to handle her dragon, therefore getting rid of her and cutting her arm so she would no longer be able to use it. He did repeat the same process eight years later with his son, Souichiro, and achieved better results, hence why he kidnapped Souichiro at some point.
Sohaku has apparently survived without most people figuring out he is nearly immortal by frequently assuming new personas. In Feudal Japan, Sohaku initially went by the name Akechi Mitsuhide, who is a real person in Japanese history. Much like the historical Akechi was suspected of doing; he faked his death and then claimed to be a High Buddhist priest named Tenkai. Like the historical Tenkai, he supposedly functioned as an advisor to Ieyasu Tokugawa. However, in the manga's version of history, he essentially controlled the local government through a magical jutsu he used on.

When Aya was still a baby, and Maya was only 8, Maya was selected of to be the guardian of the Reiki by her father, since she had no special power. Unfortunately she did not realize the seriousness of her duty and let Shin touch it. This caused Shin's power of the dragon eyes to awaken, which allowed him to see past, present, possible futures as well as hear the thoughts of the living and the dead. It was faro to much for a young boy to handle so their father locked him in an underground dungeon. Slowly his power started to make Shin more and more insane. Maya was the only one who could keep him focused, so Shin became very attached to her, so much to even been called “lovers” by Shin’s girlfriend Mana. When Shin learned that his father plan to send him away thus separating the two, Shin went crazy and killed their parents with Reiki.
When she was 14, winter 199X, Maya met Takayanagi Mitsuomi. Shin, her brother told her that Mitsuomi was going to be the leader after him, that at the time was the President of the Enforcement group, but being controlled by Takayanagi clan.
By high school, Maya was starting to be annoyed by her brother’s constant interference in her fights, so she started to take away his "power" by taking out the members of Shin's gang, Katana. As more and more worry about the "Katana hunter" grew, Shin grew increasingly violent; he even attacked his own friends. Maya also started to develop a relationship with Mitsuomi, and Shin wasn't pleased with this, at all.
Mitsuomi's father purposely let Shin's insanity continue so Mitsuomi would have an evil to fight, thus helping Mitsuomi become the perfect warrior. He even had Fu Chi'en attack Maya to drive Shin over the edge, when Shin refused to take back the Reiki. Maya called out to Shin reverting him to normal, just then Mitsuomi rushed in to help, Maya also called out to him to stop. Jealous, Shin lost it again and blasted Mitsuomi with a large quantity of enegry, and As a result of this, Mitsuomi's heart received a lot of power, his heart beats at a rate beyond what any drug could do. With the oxygen flow in his body improved, Mitsuomi gained a better metabolism, more vitalized muscles and improved brain function. The catch is that fighting causes his heart rate to rise to 200 beats per minute, if he fights for longer than 3 minutes his heart could rupture, killing him. Regardless it shortened Mitsuomi's life span dramatically.
As Shin's insanity grew, he planned to kill anyone close to Maya. Shin used his dragon eyes to predict who could be even a minor threat to Maya and killed them. Mitsuomi planned to end this insanity, eventually challenging Shin and nearly killing him. Saved by his Dragon Eyes, Shin mounts a comeback and later kills himself with his girlfriend Mana.
Maya blames Mitsuomi for her brother's death. When Mitsuomi becomes the head of the Executive Council at the Academy, dethroning his own father Dōgen Takayanagi, Maya opposes him even though she still has feelings for him.
Let’s start with Aya’s actual background.
Two years after, Aya enrolled the school and after training a bit in their club, she went to bathhouse. Meantime Souichiro and Bob who also had joined the school, were causing problems, so Maya went to take care of it; during the fight she throws Souichiro out, making him fall from the window towards the shower room where Aya was taking a bath. This obviously caused a commotion, especially because the moment Souichiro saw Aya naked, she moves to kiss him and asks him to marry, due to a family tradition that both their mother and grandmother followed, for more than 100 years ago.

Yet Maya says how Aya doesn't care about protecting her integrity, so that wasn’t it; Aya indeed agrees and explains it was a feeling like fate. Little she knew it was actually Red Wing Resonance Effect and how this would influence her to the point of actually fall in love with the blond boy.
For a month, Aya started to stalk " Souichiro-sama", trying to force him to eat the "Loving wife Bento" she prepared for him. Obviously the boy always refused but was never able to actually get rid of her.
As she did so, Souichiro kept beating his way around other students, since he wanted to be the best fighter. Fascinated by him, Aya takes his side and asks him never to lose.
During one of those lunches, Souichiro and Masataka Takayanagi (another member of Maya’s club, along with Aya, that yes, he is indeed Mitsuomi’s little brother) get in a fight; obviously Souichiro looses, but in the middle of it we get to hear Aya screaming that her future husband can not lose so shamefully to such a level of martial arts (talking about Takayanagi 's level, that made him actually depressed. She didn’t even notice why. Actually, she fails to notice Takayanagi constant interest on her).
Few days later at night, angry, Aya trained in her house's garden by destroying the Garden Rocks, which her sister immediately scolded her about. For Aya, even if Souichiro lost and cheated during the fight, the fact that she loved the boy was enough for her to stand by his side and be mad at Takayanagi (like her sister said "She doesn't think of Takayanagi as a man at all").
That same night, the school's Enforcement group (3rd years) took action to punish Souichiro and Bob for their constant violent behavior. Even if Maya told Aya that it wasn't such a thing to be worried about, fact is, Aya felt something strange about it all. A bad feeling, enough to make her puke, and similar to the feeling she had the night before her brother died, obviously related to her Dragon’s Eye.
Few minutes later a guy called "Ryuzaki" calls the household of Natsume Family; he explains that while the Enforcement group's president was tolerant not all the members of the group were: he actually raped Bob's girlfriend and exploded his bike as to send an example and also because Bob and Souichiro needed to be shown how they were going to be treated for joining forces with Maya's Jyuuken group (thought it was a misunderstanding, they weren't part of the group yet, Aya was just following them around). As she heard those words, Aya's powers emerge and she is able to see all of what had happened.
Aya decides to go after Souichiro Nagi, using her brother's bike. Even if she didn't know how to ride at first, even if she didn't know where they were, she mentions she is able to see him and is probably the Power of love (aka, the Dragon’s Eyes again).
When Aya arrives, she sees Bob and Souichiro beated up. She also meets Ryuzaki but is unable to beat him, as he breaks her katana. The next day, she asks her sister to reforge her weapon, but unfortunately, a Katana is like a person, once broken is dead.
At the same day Souichiro and Bob join Jyuuken group, in order to become stronger. Aya herself starts to realize what it means to become stronger, why one wants to be stronger and why. She decided to become stronger too, so she could protect herself, those she loved and even the world if she had to.
During Golden week vacation, the group went to a Training Camp at the Natsume residence.
As training goes, Aya begins to notice Souichiro's actual true powers, but unfortunately his and Maya's actual true feelings towards one another. And unfortunately, also when she started to hate her own power, seeing it was nothing similar to her sister's (even if Maya had no powers whatsoever) or Souichiro's. She doesn't know yet how important and powerful it actually is, and the fact that even the Enforcement group has started to fear her and the other members of Jyuuken group.
One night they go to bowling, and still filled with doubt, Aya decides to use the Dragon's Eyes to see into the past and finally understand that her sister and Souichiro kissed. Heart broken, the girl fights with her older sister but before they are able to figure it out, the whole group is attacked by the Enforcement Group.
Aya is attacked by Tagami, an Executive Council member who fears her potential power. Given Tagami's weapon is a staff she moves up the stairwell to a narrow space to limit his movements, but the fact that his weapon can split into multi-sections, she has no choice but to move to the roof. As she gets beaten, Aya is able to see Souichiro's memories from when he was a child, knowing more and more about him and also regaining her spirit and using her words of "wife".
During the night, Aya's Dragon Eyes awaken and she starts to become over-enthusiastic to the fight as she gives into the dragon; she mercilessly beats Tagami, knowing every move he will make before he makes it. Despite the fact she hears his thoughts, and knows his bones are breaking she can't stop herself and nearly kills him, sounding extremely excited (and horny, really) about it.
Afterward she is very torn up about her actions, until Souichiro reassures her "next time fight, win and smile". She even manages to steal a small kiss from him, promising that next time she'd win. Meantime, Maya comes up, telling them they had to move since Bob and others were still floors below. But before going, Aya tells her sister she won't lose to her when it came to Souichiro-sama’s heart.
Few floors below, Nagi, Aya and Maya face Takayanagi and Bob beated up by Mitsuomi, the leader of the Enforcement group. She later tries to take on Mitsuomi with Tagami's staff, but Mitsuomi uses the Muscle Bomb to shatter the staff and knock her down with out actually moving himself. Later as her Dragon Eyes activate, he merely flicks her in the forehead, but it's enough to knock her unconscious.
After the Enforcement group left, Maya finally reveals to Chikage (Bob's girlfriend) what happened. Mitsuomi killed Shin Natsume, and at that time Sin also managed to kill Mitsuomi, shortening his life (he's still waiting to die). Therefore Maya must settle everything before he dies.
Maya needs to be punished due to her fights with the Enforcement group, therefore the school expels her (allowing her to finish the semester first), leaving the rest of the Jyuuken group members angry.
Since earlier her katana died, Aya decided to search for a new one, finding her brother's old Katana, Reiki. Her idea was to actually go to the Enforcement group and get Maya's expulsion cancelled with the katana, but before she and Takayanagi did so, Bob and Souichiro were already doing the same (and losing, seeing they didn’t match the group’s force). Listening to Nagi finally admit his love for Maya with her Dragon’s Eye, she stops Takayanagi from entering the room and breaks down. Her feelings were even enough to interfere with the environment: Aya's sadness brought Fox Rain, a dark dragon rain born of water spirit, due to the Dragon eyes (and NOT the Reiki, actually, since she wasn’t holding it), and even this was sensed by Nagi's mother.
When she was finally better, Maya showed up after Reiki, though, and not ready to face her sister yet, Aya ran off. Unfortunately soon it got to Mitsuomi's ears that Aya had the katana too and in order for the to get it back, Maya and Mitsuomi joined forces.
Aya meanwhile doesn't understand the significance of her possession of Reiki and thinks her sister is just picking on her, therefore continuously hides and ends up asking Takayanagi to let her stay at his place for a while.
During the night, her brother's ghost appears to take the Reiki away from her, explaining that will only bring her sadness and destroy her like it did to him. Insisting that she wants to become stronger she ends up taking the Katana after listening to her fate that she'd die if she lost.
Next day Maya ends up taking the sword away, but Aya didn’t give up so easily. Decided to challenge her sister, the two fight and Souichiro even encouraged her to become stronger, getting her in good spirits again.
Mitsuomi also agrees to put off all aggression until the school's annual election tournament, so the group decided they'd beat the Enforcement group during that time.
Aya is assigned to taking care of Souichiro and to help him train. She takes him to a house where Dogen Takayanagi (Mitsuomi's father) and his mother, Makiko Nagi, are but he refuses to be trained by them (mostly out of embarrassment because it was his mother, after all). Aya, angry, tells him he's still too weak and isn't taking anything serious, making the boy change his mind, but before they were able to get back they are attacked by masked warriors. They return to the house to find one of the masked men holding a knife to Makiko's eye patch. As a result, Souichiro awakens his Demon Exorcist self, and it is revealed the masked assailants are actually the former heads of the 12 families. During this training he manages to activate his Dragon Gate, The Dragon's fist.
He is trained by them for a while before he is attacked by Tessen Ishiyumi, a member of 'F', Aya is nearly killed as she arrives, but Souichiro saves her, by activating the first Dragon in him (remember, there are 7 dragons inside, and they all escape by one gate only; Nagi's is the fist). Despite Mitsuomi's order to wait for the tournament, F attacks the Jyuuken club anyway (It is later revealed they don't follow Mitsuomi, but Souichiro's father, Sohaku Kago).
Much later a boy named Mouki Enmi shows up at the Natsume house, claiming his home was attacked by another F member, Mataza, due to the fact the Enmi house refuses to join Takayanagi Clan. It turns out Enmi is one of the 36 branch families, a branch of the Natsume family in this case, and thus he has a similar power to the Dragon Eyes (but instead of being able to read energy from everything around them, they can only do so with living organisms). This causes the Red Wing Resonance Effect allowing Aya to use her powers more easily, and when Mouki is kidnapped by men on motorcycles, Aya and Souichiro hunt down the men on a scooter using Aya's Dragon Eyes to find all the shortcuts through town. She defeats the men and takes Mouki back, finding out, finally, that the assault on the Enmi family, was done by the F member, Mataza Tsumuji. Aya, Souichiro, Mouki and the boy stow away to investigate, even if Maya said "no" herself.
There, they encounter Yorihira Tsumuji, Mataza's father who assists them initially and explains that F is after the Enmi family scroll, more specifically a computer chip hidden with the scroll, that contains cursed techniques. Apparently the content of the chip is kept safe over Takayanagi's main computer, but ti has been locked and it’s impossible to find it.
A huge conflict breaks out between Mataze and his father Ysumuji, with Aya, Souichiro and Mouki trapped in the middle. This culminates in a battle between Mataza and Souichiro, one so fast paced Aya can't intervene even with her Dragon Eyes working perfectly for her. In the end the victory goes to Souichiro, but he is driven crazy by his "Dragon" and attacks Aya and the others. He is stopped by his mother who loses her arm in the process of stopping him; in despair, Souichiro runs towards an hospital holding his mother in his arms.
Later, Aya returns to the Juken Club, alone. She reveals Souichiro has been kidnapped by his father Sohaku Kago, after attacking the hospital they were at. Aya is so sure he will return she doesn't try to save him, but instead trains to get stronger more and more, enough for everyone around her to mention that she is like a new different person. Despite her outer determination, she is very upset on the inside, feeling powerless for not being able to help the man she loves.
Meantime, F realized the chip they got from Enmi's house was a fake; it's actually Maya's group that has it. Wanting to retrieve it, they start to attack the members of Jyuuken group; Madoka was one of the first to come, and was defeated and captured, yet Aya soon realized she had a Red Feather charm on her - a magical jutsu -, making her blind in love with Sohaku Kago and obviously following his orders. When Madoka was explaining that it was actually Mitsuomi that was serving F's purposes and not the other way around, another F member showed up, Fu Chi'en - also enchanted by Sohaku (remember, Fu Chi'en was alive back in time when Shin was still alive).
Lucky for them, the Enforcement group also joins the fight since they could not stand for F's betrayal. After the fight, Kabuto Katsumi and Kagiroi Tetsuhito, also two members of F, showed up, and Tetshuhito healed Madoka's and Takayanagi's wounds with his Dragon Palm (also a power from Red Feather, that heals the body entirely by transferring power into it), only because, according to him, he does not fight an opponent who is already weakened. But the battle didn't go, because the cops finally showed up.
As days go by, Aya's mental state begun to change. Keeping a cheerful face all the time, soon rain started to accompany her and soon she even begun to lose her hand on Dragon's Eyes, reading people's thoughts and see the presents as it happened somewhere else.
Maya (bringing Reiki), Mitsuomi, and Madoka go to rescue Souichiro and kill Sohaku, leaving Aya behind. However, Reiki (which was with Maya), awakens Aya's Dragon eyes and shows her Maya's battle, but not only that. Before that, she shows her the past, when Makiko was still under Sohaku's power; she sees that one of the "offerings" Sohaku got Makiko was actually Shin, her brother, and the objective was to her steal his Dragon’s eye. Yet Dōgen Takayanagi intervened and didn’t let Makiko act, also leaving the accusation that Sohaku was the one killing several family members. Reiki also shows the horrible operation that Sohaku did to Makiko, including taking her eye, seeing it was what kept all the Dragon Powers she had stolen so far. After, Aya comes to watch Maya's fight and when sees her sister losing, Aya awakens Reiki for her sister allowing her to defeat Tetsuhito (but still she took a lot of damage).
Reiki tells Aya that when she learns about everything, she and her would finally become one, letting her know that she is meant to use her better than Shin ever did. And so, she shows Aya the past, using Maya's stored up power. This way, Aya learned about Sohaku's past, and at one point witnessing the (implied) insertion of Souhaku's eye into Souichiro's body.
Eventually she regains herself to find Hirohiko Myouun Kabane looking over her along with Mitsuiro Tokuan Shōjō. She throws Hirohiko across the room, but calms down when Mitsuiro shape shifts to look like Aya; they are both part of the Red Feathers as well, heirs of families who fought Sohaku in the past - therefore, friends.
Next week, is the start of the tournament, and Aya has cut off some of her hair, making her look very much like her ancestor. As she looks at Souichiro on their way home one day, one of her dragon eyes awakens and she sees Souichiro morph into Sohaku, who tells her that she shouldn’t say anything about it since it was her only way to gain the things she has lost. Meantime Maya stood in coma, sleeping, due to her fight with Tetsuhito.
Mostly, Aya is left confused of what to do, since apparently she is the only one who knows Sohaku's eye was placed in Souichiro (who doesn't remember anything at all either), but it's unknown if she is helping keep his personality dominant or Sohaku is just lying low for now.
[Personality]
Aya Natsume is the youngest of the Natsume sisters, a first year student of Toujou Academy; she is almost adorably naive to a point of being clueless, but still, doesn’t stop her from being on of the greatest sword wielders of the school, able to channel her ki (inner power) through her blade so that she can cleave through many objects in an amazing precision that is almost scary.
She is indeed weaker than her sister at martial arts, even if she knows many moves; her objective is indeed to become a master in the art of fighting, even if Maya constantly tells her she will never be able to do so if she doesn’t train more. Even so, Maya can easily recognize how powerful her little sister got with just few months of training with the club, so we can say she is a fast learned.
She decided to follow her household’s tradition that a female is to wed the first man who sees her undressed, therefore she immediately became attached to Souichiro Nagi when he saw her naked, after she took a bath. Though, that isn’t exactly what can explain her behaviour, even if she says that since her mother and grandmother did it and so she’ll also; she calls it fate, but her sister sensed it’s not exactly that.
Aya is a cute, sweet girl, though, even if it sounds so clingy and for some scary in her ways to show love. Making “love wife” obentos (like I said, a DAMNED GOOD COOK), following Souichiro around like a stalker, caring for his wounds, she never gives up on trying winning him over, even when she realizes that her beloved man is actually in love with Maya and Maya herself too is getting wrapped by him (Maya does not admit it, but Aya can see and calls her sister stubborn and blind for it).
Unfortunately Aya isn’t as convincing as her sister when it came to Souichiro, who actually ended up choosing the other Natsume, leaving Aya behind. Feeling herself weak, Aya begun to train herself, either fighting her own sister, either following Souichiro on his training. When Aya looses her control, becomes too drowned in the Dragon's Eye and goes wild, it’s like her body reacts in a way to actually enjoy a fight (in other words, it can actually be sexually stimulating by her face), making her a sadistic, beautiful and scary monster. The morals and values that held her back before are shredded by this power of hers, leaving her the essence of the fight and opponent she is facing.
Still, she doesn’t believe much in herself. Aya hates her power and sees it as useless at first, but with encouraging words from Souichiro she became stronger. Fact is, she works up her strength mostly due to him; when he was kidnapped, she decided to stay behind and endure her pain, trying to be stronger, or after she decided to cut her hair to become better like her ancestor and so help Souichiro.
One bad side on the girl’s personality is that she tends to hide everything inside. Her insecurities, her sadness, probably anger is the only feeling she doesn’t actually lock within herself. The fact that she is able to see so much, even if she doesn’t want to, the fact that she heard so much and knows so much are a burden to Aya, who stays locked within herself, crying in the showers so no one will listen, as rain falls outside.
She is sweet to most people, but has the problem of forgetting or not realizing their true feelings, like she does to Takayanagi; overlooking the love the boy has for her, even not actually realizing it, or even worse, forgetting that he too is a man, Aya blindly sees only one person to love. But she will give you her hand when necessary, so when Enmi showed up to her house, immediately she held and helped him.
Finally, she appears to also like kids, as well as cooking. She likes to give people a chance to explain themselves and she can actually enjoy battling a lot, because getting stronger is her objective.
