Protest against prop 8 in YOUR state!
If you are appalled by the ban put on gay marriage in california, arizona, and florida on election day, then you might want to read on.
Arizona, Cali, Florida, and Arkansas have banned gay marriage and Arkansas has even put a ban on gay adoption! On heterosexual MARRIED couples may adopt children. This means that even single parents and unmarried heterosexual couples may NOT adopt children in Arkansas.
This November 15th, 2008, there is going to be a NATIONWIDE protest against the ban put on gay marriage.
Each state is going to be protesting at the same time at their respective city halls!
If you want to show you support if you are gay, have a gay friend/family member, or just support equality of all people, you should come out and protest with your state!
If you're disheartened that people worked to take your rights AWAY from you, then get involved in taking those rights back! Everyone should be treated equally--we are NOT second class citizens for who we love.
