Hey all, I went on a vacation with my sister neice and cousin to Ocean City and Baltimore, Maryland last week. Here's some pics from then!
First thing was present giving a my sister's boyfriend's house. I think she liked her present. ;p
He got her a thousand dollar Canon Rebel camera that she's been wanting.
She was cute going through all the stuffs. XD
My cousin Miranda (left) and my niece Mena (right) were unamused. Roffle, naw that was laterz.
We drove from his house in Baltimore to Ocean City. This place is gorgeous. It is a city of hotels and boardwalks built on a sandbar. Ferserus. Look it up on google earth, there was ocean to the east and ocean to the west. Only like three or four blocks wide.
We got to our room in the condo we we staying at.
It was huge. And only like $157 a night. AND...
Right on the beach. Like, sand and seagulls at the foot of the condo. Love. <3
Snapped a photo of me and the girls.
I'll learn to smile correctly one of these days.
Caught a photo of the sunrise. WOW.
Went to the boardwalk later, in was nice. But damn cold.
Everyone else thought so too. Like Adam and Jenn...
And Mena and Miranda...
But not me! (lie)
Since it's off season, there was no one there. During the summer I'm told that it's packed full of people.
I thought this was kind of funny.
Doesn't this sound dirty?
Adam and Mena in a battle of wits. Little does he know she's unarmed.
Next day I ran down to the beach so I could say I touched both oceans.
Damn it was cold! And what a huge beach!
We went back to Baltimore so Miranda could see the city. I saw a cool named sushi shop.
There are sooo many sushi shops in Baltimore.
Ever seen a dutch pagoda?
You have now.
We went down to the harbor art district. Wow, was it pretty.
Saw an old sign that harkened back to simpler times.
Drunkards unite!
Saw a tugboat!
And the harbor!
Hey, wait a minute...isn't that Mena is the foreground AND the backround? o_o
Mena and Miranda are such cuties.
Dark and mysterious... Hey look! A cow!
Washington! He didn't talk to me though, must have been busy.
Downtown at the Museum for innovative art (or something like that)I saw a giant metal bird. ;o
And of course, its giant metal egg.
There was also a strange mechanical windmill. o_o
And some heads. o_o
Right across the street was Battery Hill when the old Baltimore fort once stood.
It was pretty tall...
Great place for a fort, you can see the whole city!
Like the Domino Sugar plant.
And here we have...WTF? Mena multiplied! ;O
I also repelled some redcoats. By myself I might add.
Don't worry, I called for the USS Constellation for backup.
We left the city and went to the mall. But this mall is no ordinary mall. It was huge. Arudnel Mills is so big, its movie theater is AN EGYPTIAN TOMB. o_o
They also had a Medieval Times there, where you can buy swords and watch jousting. ;O
Me being Fab.
We went to historic Ellicott City. A really old part of town like near 400 years old. ;o
Yey! Now all I need is the Reading Railroad and I have all four!
Seriously though, this was one of the first railroads ever in the US!
Caboose!
After that we went to my sister's favorite diner the Paper Moon. They have all sorts of old dolls toys and mannequins nailed and glued all over the place.
To be honest. It gave me the willies.
We left Adam's place and headed back home. I loved the street he lived on.
Jenn looked a little pensive on the ride back.
Maybe she missed her boyfriend (yes) or her favorite city (also yes) but maybe it was these jokers on the road for nine hours...
The world may never know. ;p
