So I just got back from playing some softball with those Koreans. I played 3rd base tonight, and I did shitty. I made 3 sweet ground plays, but also had 3 balls go between my legs cause I'm retarded and didn't stay down long enough to let the ball go in my glove. Therefore, I'm sticking to tennis. Speaking of which, I may jinx myself here, but I think I got my shit together in tennis. I'm playing the best ever, best shape ever, and I think there's still so much more room to improve. Just from freshman year, I've lost 20 pounds, improved my first serve percentage immensely, and just have changed my outlook on the game. So hopefully all this will crack me into the top 6 and hopefully another two years will give me similar results. I think it's a matter of self-belief now.
I am in 3 fantasy football leagues. My draft results are sweet cause I got Tony Gonzalez in two of them. Peyton in one and Vick in the other one. However, these leagues come second to the bigger one. I'm taking on Alex this week. My team is the Woodshed, inspired by Brad Gilbert. Everytime a player kicks someone else's ass in tennis, Brad Gilbert refers that to taking the guy to the woodshed, just in case you guys haven't heard that before.
School is going alright. A lotta new shit I'm learning. Fluid mechanics, that teacher gives us homework outta the wazoo. Thermo will be easy. Engineering materials will be somewhat hard cause I have no idea what's going on. Instruments and measurements is just busy work cause it's all lab based. And statistics, well, it's statistics, so it sucks already. I changed my schedule so that I go to lab at 8 am on wednesdays, which gives me Friday's off, yet again. It's good to be an engineer. Of course, no schedule will ever beat last semesters where I went to school only on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Well, I was tired of reading about crystalline structures, but I gotta get back to it as I will be quizzed on it tomorrow.
