On the end of an email about our recent game of "Kindunos" (a. greek for "danger" or... you guessed it "Jeopardy")
"Also, there was entirely too much delight, happiness, laughter, and mirth in today's class. At least I can promise that tomorrow will reestablish an appropriate level of sobriety, more in keeping with a rigorous semester of introductory Greek."
And on our homework for tonight:
"Bring your brass knuckles to the midterm on Thursday. It's going to be a fight . . ."
