What the effing crap, LJ?
So for about a week and a half now, Livejournal has refused to let me post any copy/pasted text. At all. As you can well imagine, that makes it REALLY difficult to post any fanfic.
Basically, LJ is saying my text or browser isn't set up to UNF-8 format. Their "solutions" are to only use plain .txt files and to make sure my browser is set to Unicode. This is fine. I can troubleshoot most things by carefully reading and following directions like a good monkey.
However:
My story IS .txt right now and it still won't post
My browser (Firefox) IS set to UNF-8 encoding
My other browser (IE) isn't working either
So it can't be a problem with my browser since I tried using both. I'm not using foreign characters or anything crazy like that in my story. Neither Livejournal or Firefox's troubleshooting have been any help whatsoever. Nor has Google-fu turned up anything.
Anyone have any ideas what the hell is wrong with this thing? I put up a help request that is gathering dust and started an FF.net account, but I really want to post here! D8
