BOring.
So. For those who don't know, which would be mmmmmmmost of you, the lord and lady of the house have jetted off to sunny ol' India for a 3 week holiday. With my sister...wherever she is, I'm not real clear on that, this leaves me as the Commander in Chief of the household for the next 3 weeks.
And wouldn't ya know it, but the broadband's broken.
This househusband stuff is really tedious, frankly. People think "Oh, he sits in his room all the day playing computer games, that's alonesome", and, well, they're *right*, but only in the traditional sense.
On the bright side, I've learned that I can in fact create a form of food capable of sustaining a human being. Sure, a stick of carrot, couple of boiled eggs, few bread rolls and some shaved chicken isn't high living, but gimme a break, s'not bad given how long it's been since I last laid eyes on a stove. I'll get back into the swing of things, you'll see. You'll ALL see.
In the meantime, I have an assignment that's due on Monday, requires the broadband internets proper so it's going nowhere for the moment. Gah, dialup is like getting kneecapped by a shotgun. How the fuck did I *live* like this?
Now, late-night TV is melting my brain just being in the background, so I'm going to go to bed. Likely more updates on the morrow.
