...Then you must be as mindless as those jackals from earlier.

Not really, I just don't particularly like poetry. At least, not this sort.

A shame that such a young mind cannot appreciate such poetry...

Finally, someone who has some taste...

I am thankful you enjoyed it. Hopefully others will share their poetry rather than their devious 'sex lives' on this Network.

So long as we don't end up with a frightful combination of the two I would greatly enjoy that.

...Imagine that!

Someone writing stanzas about their vivid and private thoughts about intercourse!

That would certainly be fairly entertaining read...

As well as rather TACTLESS!

Hm, I must confess I'm not really a fan of poetry.

It's good to have hobbies though I suppose.

Ah, Susan!

Hm? A lady who does not appreciate poetry? What sort of art do you enjoy then?

I think poetry is a bit silly honestly. But at least this one's not about something silly like daffodils.

Give me a good history or biography any day. I enjoy paintings, music is nice. But I never understood poetry.

My my...

A woman who does not value art but rather facts?
How intriguing, you are interesting individual, Susan.

I'll be sure to post some of my other works instead.
I used to be a writer in my short days in Parliament.

Such praise from you holds more weight than gold, Hellsing.

Not at all. Poetry is soothing to the busy mind.

Very... nice.

Now, what exactly was the point of that?

Ah! Grand Admiral, it is pleasure to see that you have read my poetry.

Allow to explain the meaning of my latest work.

This poem is not about a tortoise per say but rather about the trials and tribulations that a mortal man must face!

...I don't see how life's trials and tribulations are anything like a tortoise.

...Well, turtles in general can live a long and productive life that equals the longevity of a man's life or sometimes twice as long as compared to our lives.

Imagine what daunting stories such a creature may have, thrilling stories of survival and perseverance in the face of unspeakable odds! Much like the life of a man for we defy the odds by simply existing together as a entire species despite all of the quarrels we face in out time!

The two stories intersect at the ending of this poem, they both seem parallel at first but then they cross and you learn how similar we are to a tortoise!
