Again?!?!
I have no idea what's up with Luke' immune system, but it and I are not friends right now. :/
Luke is sick, AGAIN. He got a runny nose the other day, so I set out to get him some wildly over-priced kid's allergy meds. But by the time I got them, he'd added a nasty cough to the mix. Ah well, he also had a scratchy throat, so there might have been some post-nasal junk going on... And the meds HAVE seemed to have helped. Except now he's got a fever. Again. He also took an hour long nap from 5-6pm, so I figured I'd be in for a long evening with a kid who didn't want to sleep. Instead, he wet his pants (Dude. I can't even remember the last time that happened), rejected dinner, and begged to go to bed because he was "siiiick" a full 15 minutes before bedtime (1 hour, 15 minutes after waking from his nap). His voice made me want to cry, he sounded sooo miserable and sad.
Right now (8:10), he's asleep at about the time he'd be asking to go potty AGAIN just to get out of bed.
Other then that, Mother's Day was nice. Luke told me "happy mother's day, Mommy!" about 17 times, I got new sheets and curtains for my room, and we went to Toys R Us and Michael's, where scrapbook paper was on sale. :D I picked up something that will be quite awesome for my class. :D
