so i decided to take up a new hobby, paint ball. I went to play for the first time on sunday at Day of the Day, put on by Flagswipe. OMFG it kicked ass. i was so freaked out at first. I was scared of getting shot and having it really REALLY hurt. Once i got shot it was all good. I started to get into and got shot quite alot more. For the record the

Aren't you supposed to be wearing a helmet when you play paintball? The one time I went, they made us wear these heavy helmets that caused me grief because I'd chosen to wear my glasses that night, and the helmet didn't really fit well over them.

yeah you have to wear full face masks. i had a bandana on over my hair and the the mask on. I got hit in the front of the mask and the paint went through the holes. the one i took in the neck hit the edge of my mask just at my chin and went all over my neck and hair.

I would have loved to have seen you playing (from the safe sidelines). I bet it would have been a blast to see.

maybe next time you can come and try it out. you cant see much from the safe zone unless your watching people come in after they have been shot. It's not as hard as it seems.

hey i was nervous as hell and now i love it. come with me to Flagswipe some day and ill let you try out shooting my painball gun. i'll borrow a tank and mask from Kevin so we can go :)
