Weekend Update
It was a long and relatively unaccomplished weekend. I feel like I really didn't get enought done and I'm definitely not making enough progress with unpacking. Everything is still in boxes, my computer still doesn't work and I feel like everything is just getting messier instead of cleaner.
On the up side, we got the new shelves assembled. The TV we were getting from Ry's dad is now in the house, although it took 3 of them just to lift it. I have no concept of how we are going to move it around the apartment. Hopefully it won't need to go too far from it's current location. I'm still trying to get the living room set up properly though, so we'll see.
I finally managed to find a bathing suit that sort of fits. I don't think it's ideal by any means, but it will do. I was beginning to worry that I would never find one and thus be unable to use my pool. That would have been very sad indeed.
I finished the book I was reading last night, American Gods by Neil Gaiman. Very interesting stuff. I really like the way he writes. I have made a mental note to pick up more of his work in the future. I'm just waiting for Harry Potter now, since I have far less time to read than I used to. I must know how it will end!
Now to see if there's actually anything for me to do today. /sigh
