the Long Branch.

Zomg. Seriously one of the greatest nights evar.

My head is ringing. My feet are sore. I feel salty. But i kind of love it.
So, here's how it goes.

Cody shows up at my place around 11 or so, i heard him coming. He plays the bass really loud (so loud you can feel it in your chest) And i heard him before he got here. so i run out, got my cell, got my license, and i'm really do go. (I had asked him what to wear ahead of time: t-shirt, jeans, and boots, he said. I've got a polo-shirt over a tank-top, jeans, and somewhat-boots, as well as a hoodie. ) We go. It is fun to drive/ride in cars with cody. He plays the music loud, and drives crazy (lots of drifting and such) but is mostly pretty safe.

We get to the Long Branch. There's no line up to get in, which is good, considering cody said that he has had to wait in line for 2 hours in -30`c weather, before. Cody payed my way in. All 2 dollars of it. Then he bought me a drink. Vodka special, or something. Tasted like lime. Cody knew one and a half million people there, i knew none, but one of the girls from BDC was there, so her and i went around looking for people to dance with. Oh, but that was only after i'd danced a couple dances with cody. He's a good dancer, as we all know.

So danced with lots of people.
The music was loud. The dance floor was crowded (like, you have no idea how crowded, and apparently it was a relitively quiet night). There were a few people all over each other, but it was easy enough to ignore them. Cody went off to find people he knew, and so Brittney (the girl from BDC) and i hung out and hunted for boys. I asked quite a few dudes to dance, and all except one accepted. One really drunk guy asked me to dance, and i did for a bit, but i wasn't amused by him, at all, so i kind of just pushed him away, put my hands up and was like "um, no"

Oh yeah, it was nearly impossible to hear anyone. But the music was real good, so no worries. :D
The drunker the guy was the closer he tried to dance (i guess the crowdedness of the floor helped that too ), but except for that one really drunk guy, no one groped me.

I met lots of people, made some... aquaintances. One guy tried to get my number, but i forgot. Another guy, this really cute real-cow-coy (he had the hat, but he also had the shirt, and he wore them both like the belonged on him) ((i didn't check his jeans. That is how breta and i used to tell the real-cowboys from the wanna be's at the rodeo: their jeans. Real cowboys keep their shirts tucked in, have nice belt buckles, and jeans that just scream "cowboy" at you. )) asked me for my number, but since i didn't remember it, he gave me his.

I might call him up tomorrow or something.... That's what cody suggested. :D

So yeah. Lots of dancing. Polka and Twostep, mostly polka. Some dudes couldn't dace well, some dudes were great. Most were pretty ok.

Jason from BDC (brittney's BF) showed up halfway through the night and was trying to convince me that cody secretly wasn't "just my friend" because guys and girls can never be "just friends". I'm pretty sure he was wrong. :P

Alot of guys smelled pretty good, but some also smelled like beer (which isn't too bad of a smell, as long as its not so strong you pass out) and one or two smelled like pot. I don't think i danced with anyone who smelled like pot. But you could sometimes smell it.

So yeah. I'm trying to get everything down here, but i'm seriously not sure i've got it all, and i know i don't have it all in order... heh. I'll try to do a short version:

loud music, lots of dancing, crowds, cute cowboy.

If i remember anything else, i'll probably edit/post other highlights tomorrow before work.

Right now i really smell like other people's sweat. Yummeh. :P

Cody's great. On the way home he was pretending like he was a chick-friend and we were "like totally, you know like whatever". It was mostly hilarious.

I need to get some sleep. Mmmm.

boys, dancing
