(no subject)
Lets just pretend that my last post (the pointless one) was just a preview for something far more interesting.
AKA, this one.
So, its time to recap the recent events.
Friday night was le movie night. and a movie night it was, indeed. i went to the uni around 7 pm, ish, and met up with alex and gave him some food.
after a while, we went over to alisons and alex, like every other to enter the realm of alison, commandeered her laptop. He complained about the fact that she used internet explorer. Eventually he left because he, mysteriously, had to meet someone, and alison and i, after a while, decided we needed something to drink. or gum. we texted torien and told him to get his butt to the university and meet us for our movie night. he took his sweet time. alison and i disovered that the store in lower place was closed for the night (weird, right? wrong. it was already 8 o clock.), so we decided to go to the cove and get what we needed. well, actually i decided that, because i was the one who was thirsty. So, first i got some money, then we went down. Found alex there, and i gave him a looney. then we left. when we came back, alex was DDRing. Big Surprise? no. definately not.
Alison and i staked out the DDR/ITG machine and put our name on the list (aka, put a looney on the machine so we could have a place in the lineup) and when it was our turn we danced our butts off. well, not literally.
Torien got there while we were dancing to our last song. After our dancing, the three of us went outside and made our way to the engineering building to comendeer the lounge... unfortunately it was busy, so we left and ran around in spinks for a while, then made our way to the arts lounge. there we watched ' I AM LEGEND '. Very good movie, but scary, sometimes.
I was sad when *** died. *** was so nice and pretty...
After watching the movie, we discussed it with great velocity. then decided to go somewhere. i dont know where we were going. but we were going there. we ran into Alex on the stairs. I yelled at him for blowing us off, and some how torien and alison got involved in a high speed chase. so, i ended up standing in the middle of the stairwell hugging a sweating DDR boy.
Eventually everyone got back in order, and we ended up going to the commerce building. to check our flights. Alex wondered what was going on for a long time. Then i lead everyone to the awesome hallway... and we proceded in just kinda... laying on the awesome benches for a long time. we eventually ordered pizza. it was good pizza.
After picking up the pizza at spinks, which was after spending a bunch of time in spinks, including rolling chair races, and computer cooties, we went back to the engineering building. the doors were mostly locked, but somehow alex's magic touch opened them and we got in. The lounge was empty and we settled in. After eating our pizza, and playing a round of pool which i managed to loose very badly, we watched Phone booth and V for Vendetta. Halfway through phonebooth, a bunch of engineering students came in and started playing pool, which was kind of annoying, but eventually they stopped because they pretty much all wanted to watch the movie. i love it when random people kind of just... stop their lives just so they can (secretly) watch movies with alison and i.
At some point during V for Vendetta, alex and i decided we wanted to go outside (it was snowing). i mostly wanted to play in the snow, while alex mostly wanted to cool down. So we did. Then i showed him a fantastic empty glass case that i had found while wandering around and looking for a chocolate vending machine. he proceded in trying to fall asleep in it.
Eventually we went back to the movie, which finished around 6 or 6:30. Alex and i left because alex wanted to catch his bus at 640. the bus didn't come until 7. but we caught it anyways.
The rest of the day, for the two of us, was pretty much spent sleeping. I eventually woke up at 6, and kind of started freaking out because i hadn't been home in 24 hours. after a while i calmed down. Alex and i decided to go out for breakfast... but Grainfields was closing as we got there, so so much for that idea. we wandered around, not sure what to do, until we decided to go to Manos, which is a greek restaurant on 8th.
It was fancy. We ate yummy food. It got dark. I started freaking out again. (i do this alot). Eventually i calmed down, ish. We finished supper around 10. and each ran to catch our respective buses. i caught mine, but alex managed to miss his... it must have been early, so instead of going to broadway like he had orignially planned, he walked home.
I got home at 10:30 ish. went to bed around 12:30, which is really early for me, these days.
Woke up at 9 this morning. still really tired too.
