(no subject)
Just finished updating my reading list, and once again I have added more books than I have crossed off. My only excuse this time is that I've been reading mostly manga for the past two weeks, but frankly with the number of books I bought this time around I'd have been hard pressed to break even this update even if I'd spent the last two weeks doing nothing but read books. I haven't actually counted my backlog, but right now I'm fairly sure that I could read a new book every day for the rest of the year just from what I own that I haven't read. Not, of course, that this will actually stop me from buying more books. Nothing stops me from buying books. Someone once said something like "When I get a little money I buy books. If there is any left I buy food and clothes." - I am that person. I am an addict. People think I'm smart because I read so much. That is so not it - I just can't stop.
