I've been on the www since 1993 or 1994, so a very long time! I use it for everything - documentation, finding reading material, forums of every stripe (journalists, politics, literary, fandom, technical help crowdsourcing...) and now watching TV, shopping, social networks, contacting friends, tweeting, getting news, POSTING CAT PICTURES... I used to be on CompuServe, in fact I remember following the OJ trial on the CompuServe forums.
