I think anyone who has been reading either this journal or my other one over the last year will know that 2003 hasn’t been the best of years for me. It started with losing my beloved cat Thomas just before Christmas, then I lost my job of fourteen years in May and things seemed to go down hill from there

I liked the flashback to that first evening in Hagrid's cottage, the parallel between removing Draco's and Harry's gloves. Hell, even I got nostalgic, seeing as that was the first chapter of a H/D fic I'd ever read. Very nice. Happy New Years!

Thanks - I rather like it as well. I think it's the clearest I've seen his scar in an actual movie picture rather than in a press-pic.

Just wow! The fact that this New Year fell on the same day! Go Harry! That was wonderful of him to tell the others they wanted to be alone! Bringing up their first New Years together. Harry helping Draco and now Draco helping Harry. *Sigh* How wonderful!!! Thank you for this New Years gift!!! I can't wait for the second part!
