Oh, but this was beautiful :) You always write the most moving pieces. A great addition to the genre.

Just a couple of typos:
Lust - none - a strong desire for sexual gratification

And here:
Was it possible, he reconcile such disparate personalities?

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. I did wonder if it was too soft though.

And thanks for picking up the two typos, which were my fault after making changes *sigh*

Not at all! :) Vampire fics do tend to be a bit on the harsher side, but all the more reason to throw something different out there. The soft, dreamlike quality fitted perfectly here.

my fault after making changes
I do the the same thing every single time when I'm editing. It's so frustrating how quickly you became blind to your own text. I've been thinking about getting a beta just for my real life updates ;)

The first version I tried (which was nothing like the final version) was much harsher with a darker Harry, and I must admit that I found it very hard to write.

And mistakes *sigh*. I'm always making typos in my posts *sighs some more*

This was beautifully done. There was so much emotion, and such tenderness. You laid the history out well, I felt like I knew everything that had happened, and yet it was only a few well-crafted paragraphs.

Excellent, as always. Thank you for sharing :)

I pleased you liked it. I really wanted it to be very minimal and not to go into too much detail.

You recced me *grins*. I've never actually read any vampire stuff so when I saw the prompt I thought it might be interesting to try and write it. I had 1000 words of another story before giving up and trying again with this.

*hugs*

oh. OH *sigh* wow. That was absolutely beautiful. I have a soft spot for vampires, but this took it from "god thats hot" to "good lord, thats beautiful!" The format of this is perfect for the feel of the story and your writing style just shines in this. Thanks so much for sharing!

Thanks. It was my first go at vampires and I wasn't sure if it would work. So I'm pleased that it works for someone who likes reading vampfics.
