Dog Blues
I'm having serious dog withdrawals. I miss their company, I miss the snuggling, I miss the 'happy to see you but can we go for a walk now?' It was mentioned (by my boy) that next time we get a dog would be when we have a couple of children. And although it was great to hear him think that could be in our future ... I'm still like 'what about me, now?'
I keep reminding myself that given I'm working full time it's unfair to get a dog just to leave him at home alone all the time.
Unfortunately I'm currently sick with some flu/virus which is making me crave the comfort of a dog. Almost 'borrowed' one of our tenants dog today - he was a beautiful old golden retriever. Perfect size for snuggles.
Well I'm off to try and do the sleep thing.
