Oh look ... you haven't heard from me in a while!
I've been doing an awful lot of fan-fic reading lately and I find myself wondering do these writers actually take the time to plot their stories? It is like reading day-time soap opera's! Just when you think everyone should be settling down into normal life another *HUGE* event happens, then another and then another. I just find myself wondering when it is this story going to end? Do these authors have an idea and then just can't let the characters, the idea or even the reviews go and therefore just drag the story out?
Of course, I am just sitting here reading unable to tear myself away. As mlle_petal pointed out when we met it's like watching a train wreck!
In other news from the quiet front of dragon_jen's life? Found some fantastic drugs, went to Melbourne to visit the family, and am in the process of applying for a promotion at work. My paid live_journal time has expired but I think that given the last time I updated was in July I decided against renewing it! Although I haven't forgotten you all, I still do read your entries every day!
Well I better get back to cooking!
