Those are all english courses so you'd have to do them as part of an arts degree. International relations and Sociology/Psych are also part of arts degrees. Usually - now I think this is usually, I'll try and find the bit about it - you get two majors which you study throughout and other subjects which you just do units of. I COULD BE WRONG DON'T TAKE MY WORD FOR IT. So you could choose to major in English and International Relations and it would mean you'd have to follow those through. But if you were wanting to do teaching you'd probably be better off doing subjects that'll serve you for that kind of job... I don't know, you'd have to talk to your advisor.
The UAI req for a straight Arts degree is 85. Also, it's only a three year degree, not four.
Ah. this is what you want. Mostly technical mumbo jumbo, you might understand it better than me.
(Yeah, reading that looks like it is two majors. yay! Well, I want to do primary teaching at first, but eventually (say, five/six years) I want to do seinor/college English teaching and that sort of English teaching needs a good background in international relations and history and stuff. (Except I don't know if I could stand to do straight history. It would be taxing, to say the least). Also, international relations would allow me to do other things than just teaching, which would be really good seeing as chances are I'm not staying in teaching all my life. But Psych/Sociology would also be good. Will need to look a the post-grad teaching stuff. hm. gah, why is it all so complicated.
Yeah, tell me about it. And double degrees are even worse, cos everything gets chopped and put in different parts of the year and shit. But it'll be okay. *hopes*
