Argh
Things are so frustrating right now. I am still waiting for the VA to get done deciding if they are going to give my grandma benefits or not. If they don't we are out alot of money and I have no clue where my grandma will go. We had moved her to an assisted living facility near our house from where she was living in Bellingham at the request of her doctor. We filed the claim the end of may and they say it takes 4-6 months to be processed. And real quick on a side note before I continue my rant the final episode of America's got Talent is just downright scary... Anyway, today my mother found out the government (IRS) took out over $500 (basically everything she had in the account) and didnt notify her. Turns out they messed up and didnt put a hold on the collections when they received her arrangement to make payments. So that means her account was overdrawn by over $500 and then add the overdraft fee. We find out later that there is now a $100 "Legal fee" out of her savings in addition to what happened with her checking. ARGH!
Before that at work I had to deal with an insurance company that changed their options when you call in so now you have to talk to a computer for 5 minutes before you can get to a live person since there is no way the auto attendant can do jack for me. *Bangs her head on her desk* I HATE talking to computers over the phone!
Oh and then right before I left work I was told that our software vendor screwed up a trip I am supposed to take the second to last week of October... (The airfare is already paid for and the hotel cost is non-refundable due to a mistake in the registration process.) If they do not fix this problem I am going to be pissed because I really want to go hang out with my friends that live there and get to go to their halloween party. Not to mention my boss will be pissed about the wasted $1064ish hotel fee. /sigh
