Blackwall's section is five paragraphs about the real Blackwall. One interesting thing is it notes that he was awarded "The Silverite Wings of Valor" - if this is some sort of Warden award, it's the first time we've heard of them having anything like that.

Viv. Youngest mage in history to go through the harrowing. Lust Love at first sight with the Duke. Had a bunch of bards sent after her, half were returned frozen solid, the other half were persuaded to work for her. Honestly there's nothing really interesting here, it's mostly "got something there for Viv? Yep, check, move onto the next thing."

Sera. Some stuff about the Friends of Red Jenny. They used to be a gang of assassins, local to Denerim, bloody and in the habit of recruiting street urchins for various tasks. There is some indication that before the gang the name existed as a rank of some other organisation.

The book confirms that the group changed when Sera became the head of the organisation, and it spread out across Southern Thedas, turning their attention from murder and such towards working on behalf of the common people. "Rob from the rich and give to the poor - but with significant funds kept for services rendered"

As to Sera's personal history, once again the fucked it up. So Sera's attitude is a result of her treatment from other elves due to her not being "a proper elf." If you dig into the lore it becomes obvious, but apparently the devs didn't realise it wouldn't be to people. They dropped the ball with her personal quest, instead of having it provide insight into her current situation or background like every other character, it was just a waste of time.

But hey, there's a Lore book coming out right? Perfect time to step in and fill that gap that with the power of hindsight, we now know existed. But do we get that? No. Instead we get a page of text detailing the financial dealings of the estate Sera owned but didn't want.

At least they're being consistent in dropping the ball the same way every time.

Iron Bull. The Ben Hassrath normally only keep agents in Seharon for two years, any longer and the stress tends to get to them. Bull was there for a decade, with eight of those years in a command role where command roles are prime assassination targets. When he broke he was considered too valuable to get rid of, and too dangerous to put to use, so they sent him down South to keep him out of the way until they needed him.

Cole is all stuff we know from the game and the previous novel. I wish I had more to add.
