I guess this could be considered the plot of Rhys finding something/deciding on what he she stand up for. Maybe he's meant to reflect the Player, trying to decide what to do in the whole Mage Question - except does anyone not just side with the Mages? Even I who thinks that setting them all free is a super bad idea and the circle plays an important role (it just needs to be a little more fantasy-Hogwarts), sides with setting the mages free almost 100%

I've not yet completed my anti-mage character in DA2. I did the same with you as have Beth die in the deeproads, but I also (for some reason) decided that this would be a good character to have hook up with Anders. I'm struggling a bit to get the mentality worked out.
