I just started Dragon Age: Origins
Hi! You may know me from the Mass Effect Community here on LJ. I loved Mass Effect so much that I thought I'd try out another (the other?) Bioware game.
So I've just started DA:O and have been blogging about it in my personal journal. I was invited to share it here, and so my only question is: Should I share links to my journal entries or just post straight to this comm?
I don't mind either way, but I do see how one might want the choice to come over and read it, rather than have it directly injected into their flist. And there will be my own stuff in there, it seems like the first option is the best.
Here's the first few entries
There will be some gentle comparisons to the ME series, not in terms of value but in experience. Mass Effect was my introduction to these sprawling RPGs and how amazingly huge and detailed video games have become. Just be aware there are ME spoilers, if you are inclined to avoid them.
I am an adult type person (in terms of age,not finances or career or whatever) who has finally been able to start playing "real" video games, so also be aware that I kind of suck at them and only know a little lingo. But I'm having fun and that's what counts, right?
