Writer Jennifer Hepler leaves Bioware
Fan-harassed writer Jennifer Hepler leaves BioWare
I'm not going to dredge up the crap she had to put up with when this blew up last year, but note this is probably a huge loss for those who enjoy the story part of Bioware's RPGs. From what I know, Hepler did extensive work on the Orzamaar/Deep Roads portion of DA:O and Anders was her baby in DA2.
(She also was credited as one of three Senior Writers in the core SWTOR game and was responsible for half of the Smuggler story along with Lead Writer, Hall Hood).
(ETA): Take the title with a grain of salt. I realized after reading the article twice that they seem to want to say the 'fan-harrassed' was causative, but there's been no info as yet to suggest that she left because of the harrassment.
(ETA2): And now more support that it wasn't the sole cause from a Polygon article (h/t to dizy_chan and fifmeister for the link)
