While I would still love an Aveline romance like burning, I'm neutral on it because she and Donnic are so fucking adorable.

Still, my rage for lack of Varric romance... IT BURRRRRRNS.

That's 100% my feeling towards Aveline. Like, at first I was no, but then it was like...OMG, Aveline + Donnic = made of win!

And, yeah, I HATE that we cannot have Varric. WTF were you thinking, Bioware? He is too good for that bow. TOO GOOD!!!!!!

Also in my current game Aveline randomly kissed me on the mouth! We were rivals, I made fun of her THE ENTIRE TIME, and she just planted one right on me. Needless to say, my LadyHawke was a little surprised.

Yeah, this is essentially my view. I can forgive them for discluding Aveline because Donnic and Aveline are such an awesome couple, but... Varric. ;_;

I am still choosing to believe that there was a Varric/Hawke romance and he just covered by pairing her off with someone else in his story to like, throw the Seekers off their trail. >:|

I have, like, a big gay man-crush on Aveline. Back in the early development stages I thought she was going to be an LI and was gonna have her as my fallback if the single m/m romance they allowed us sucked. Turns out I was wrong on both counts, for better and worse.

Bioware usually lets us inappropriately come on to widows/ers! That they finally decided against doing that here is sad, b/c I totally love Aveline. She's a very mature character--and I find that really alluring as a player.

I have only kissed Merril by accident, my opinion may change if I ever romance her properly :)

None of my Hawkes have desperately wanted to romance Varric or Aveline but I can definitely see them making good LIs for the right character. Though depending on how things were implemented I might feel like a bit of a skeeve for getting between Aveline and Donnic.
