Books Books and more Books...
So while I have been hanging around applying for more jobs and not working yet, I decided I would finally take the wood pieces that I sanded down last summer out of my closet and finish building my bookcase. With the exception of needing to putty over the areas where there are nails, and needing to add a coat of varnish, my bookcase is done. :) It is great. There are 7 adjustable shelves (yes...I took the time to drill lots of extra holes in the wood to make my bookcase more accomidating to my needs.) and it is 18 inches wide and 6 feet tall. Lovely. :D
I even put books on it to see how much extra space for books I will have...yeah...that didn't work so well. The books look great on the shelves. I just discovered after all my hard work...I need another bookcase. The three I have aren't enough. Grrr.... Perhaps after I am no longer unemployed I can get around to IKEA and buy another one. Right now I have about a dozen books that don't fit on any of my bookcases...and you know me...I always end up with more books. I also need to find a place to store the books on tape that I borrowed from Cat and Dave...grrr...need more bookcases. Oh well...I guess that there are worse problems to have. Oh...thinking of more media space...I am going to need more room for my dvd's and video games too. :)
