I'm mildly disturbed by the number of male welsh names that become female names in America, Rhys (reese in US), Morgan, Meredith, Griff, just slightly odd 'tis all

I got the oneness of all religions from the movie, but then, i haven't read the book, and so, can't give all sorts of themes and ideas that were represented therein ( ... )

Hmm, I've always wondered if we could knock a sign into the moon "Alien dictactors wanted, must bring own original vices and infections"

But seriously enough, I think the turnout numbers will show whether people are becoming more interested. In some ways America's presidential system mean people can be more passionate about a single person, whereas the UK's party is less so. Or conversely the US's 2 party system might mean people feel alienated from the two parties and not vote, while the UK has a wider range to choose from. Hindsight is 20/20, foresight is feeling forwards with your hands while blindfolded.

Mm, Reese and Morgan are still largely male. I've never met a child named Griff. Meredith takes me by surprise. It's male there?

A very very traditional Welsh Male name, quite unusual to see it nowadays, the Griff one was a character in a US movie I ran across a review of.

The only thing I really remember well about that movie was how much that pale dude with the blue eyes was, and that the music was cool.

Morgan and Meredith are male names?!

Yep, never met a Meredith, but it's definitley male, and if Morgan isn't a male name, then I've met at least two more transvestites than I thought I had.
