Finally Finished...Two Months Later
So I finally finished writing about the Wedding Saga and Honeymoon series!! All entries are available in my archive. Two months later, but hey. At least that is done and maybe after the move I can start on the wedding album and scrapbook.
Huge news: We have taken a large step towards moving back to Ohio. On Sunday I was doing my daily browsing of the newly posted job classifieds and came across an add for what seems like a really great opportunity for Steve. I thought it over in my head for a bit, then brought it to Steve's attention that maybe it was time to throw caution to the wind and just go for the gold...just go out there to Ohio and get a job! Steve was enthusiastic but before making a rash decision, we called his mother and asked her opinion on making a bold move like that. She was all for it, so Steve made some quick calls to secure himself a place to stay in Cleveland, and we made fast work of planning his spontaneous trip the following morning.
He will be gone for two weeks, looking for jobs and following leads. I will be here, packing. It has been rough for me and will continue to be rough but I am doing much better today than I was yesterday, and while I miss him terribly, I really feel like this was a good move to make. I will have help with packing and loading and Steve will be trying his hardest to find a family-supporting type job so that we can have comprehensive insurance before we start having kids. He has already found a couple great opportunities and will continue to look and follow through. As for me, I have already done no packing whatsoever.
I am getting tired however and I think it's time for me to settle down with a book and nod off gently into a world of my own making.
