This is the start of an AU I was thinking about picking up again, and I'd welcome thoughts on it, particularly since I've seen comments on this community that people are tired of Origins retellings focusing around a Cousland. Is the premise for this different enough to be interesting

(Didn't all fit in one post. Someday I'll learn concise, but today is not that day.)
{Note to self: Insert explanation of Warden contracts and plans to send Althgar, who has been busy looting bodies or something, to Orzammar.}
“So we’re agreed,” Alexia stated. “We all return to Redcliffe to free Connor, and then our paths diverge. You,” she nodded to the dwarf, “go rally Orzammar against the Blight, and we go to Denerim to claim the throne.”
“After killing Loghain,” Alistair amended, his eyes hard.
“And my father,” her husband added grimly.
“I’ll help you both,” Alexia agreed, reaching up to touch the pommel of her sword as she turned to begin heading back to Redcliffe.
I'm vaguely pondering an f!Hawke/Isabela fanmix. Can anyone think of any good, somewhat energetic songs with female singers which would suit the mood at the Gallows when you're preparing for battle and talking to all your companions?
I found a No Doubt cover of "it's the end of the world as we know it" but it wasn't very good, and overall isn't quite what I'm after. The basic mood I'm going for is "things are about to get rough but we're awesome and have each other", though other moods are ok if something comes to mind.
(Sorry if this is unclear, I'm about to go to bed and SQS will be pretty much done by the time I wake up)
Not all upbeat energetic, but a mix of ladies for your consideration - turns out most of my library is folksy, and I never realized it. Erm. But still. Some songs for your consideration.
**Blondie "Atomic" (this is not crazy upbeat, but I think it would work?) **Bat for Lashes "Glass" (loved this idea until I listened really closely to the lyrics and it involves a girl saving a hero soooo not really sure it's what you want) **Cranberries "Time Is Ticking Out" **Dragonette "We Rule The World" **Goldfrapp "We Radiate" **Nelly Furtado "All Good Things (Come To An End) **The Sounds "Midnight Sun" **Thea Gilmore "Have You Heard" **Yeah Yeah Yeahs "Heads Will Roll" (I think next to the Blondie this is the most likely to satisfy you when I think of 'upbeat' going-to-our-death songs)

Assuming we get a full party (three companions + Hawke) in addition to Tallis, who will you be taking for your first run-through?

Laidlaw mentioned that there was extra commentary if your party hasn't seen Carver/Bethany in a while.
