Okay, I got a nudge from Anne (sorry!) because I have lagged in posting yet again. Life's been a little crazy around here. I will explain more later, but first, I must share! I received the following e-mail from our lawyer's assistant this morning and I have to say, this is the best day!
Hi Jennifer!
We got your Open Work Permit! HOORAY! CIC has also requested only an FBI
Clearance at this time. At this point, I don't know if they will be
requesting the State Clearances. ?? We are so used to being asked to obtain
them that only asking for the FBI Clearance is a little odd to me. But
nonetheless, all good news!!
Can I courier the Work Permit and letters from CIC to you?
