I've been thinking for a while that I have little influence over or effect on the people I encounter. The things that I value or care about just really aren't important to other people and don't change how they think or feel about things and definitely don't affect what they do. Hence, there's really no reason to me to have friends on here. And

I know you aren't necessarily talking about me, but...it would be ridiculous to think you haven't had an effect on my life! You always make me think about things; things that I took for granted as just being acceptable the way they are. I appreciate that.
