Last night I went to see Jimmy Eat World at the Del Mar Fair with friends Kaitlynn, Leinei, and Amy. Long before the show, at the stage we met people we had never before seen and talked to them for a while. One young man was especially talkative, whom we dubbed "Joel" since we didn't hear or ask him his name (We later found out his name was Blair). We also met a young lady named Cameile (spelling?) her little sister Corey, and their friend Elizabeth.
We had a few laughs while talking and listening to these new friends of ours.
The show itself was very very good. It was cool to see the band's energy, as well as feel the energy of the people we were surrounded by. Lots of movement. After the show were were all sore and tired. And my shirt was soaked with other people's sweat.
It was a good time.
