Call for Assistance!

Hey all- I'm a king up in Fairbanks, Alaska. I've been asked to help organize a workshop for the AK Pride Conference on drag-kinging and drag in general. I've only been doing king stuff for the past year, and I've been doing it all in Eugene, OR but now I'm up here and there isn't much of a king-scene so this workshop will hopefully get some people interested.

Soooo--- for the workshop, since I've never put one on before (only been to them) I was thinking about putting together a kind of "King Me 101" type zine/pamphlet/thing with tips, stories, photos, websites, etc. that folks can take home after the workshop. Because my input and my experience is only one person's perspective, it'd be great to get input from tons of folks. So if you have advice, stories, plugs/links for your website/group, tips, etc, email me at travist_drag@yahoo.com

i'm looking for anything and everything: passing tips, big boob binding tips, drag names, why you do drag, reactions from folks, different types of masculinities/femininities, personalities, songs, skits, performance stuff, how to find gigs, first drag stories, whatever! anyone who sends me stuff i use will be given credit in the zine itself and if you want, i'll send you a copy! (if anyone else wants a copy, email me and let me know)
